So artfight is over and I had to stop attacking with 2 days remaining 😭 but! I enjoyed this event way more than I thought I would. The community was so wholesome and everybody is so skilled it's crazy + I was a big fan of the site's algorithm and engagement and was pleasantly surprised it didn't break on the first of July. I'm up to participating next year too if I have the time (something about an art gifting game and friendly competition made me immune to artblock for an entire month. Magic happened here it's the only explanation. Like, I don't remember the last time I made 11 full illustrations in a month.)

But yeah now with August arriving my break from uni is officially over! and. guess I gotta find a way to balance my personal work, commissions and uni stuff. I'm gonna go ahead and say I will probably put commissions and studies on priority again since this year and half of 2026 I gotta do my dumb thesis and that's gonna be difficult to say the least :) also I need to work. Such is life.

Prep for Artfight was the first instance in a long time I actually sat down to work on personal stuff, and my OC sheets weren't even that complex or anything, but I genuinely had a lot of fun making something for myself again 😭

Uuhhh I will post my OC reference art and might ramble a bit about them to the void later because this blog is the only place on the internet my irl friends (ttrpg group) don't follow and they are not allowed to see spoilers for my characters!
