What was funny about the time humans and drones shared the same planet together was that there were humans attracted to drones and drones attracted to humans. Both were actually frowned upon by the mass majority of both respective species.
This was particularly shocking coming from drones sense drones romantic interests were normally quite rainbow
But none the less there was actually cases in wich a human dated a drone and a drone dated a human, that did happen but it was more rare

The solvers and DD’s bite into things like oil cookies, oil squishies, batteries, and wires with the sides of their moths where their molars sit the fangs are less than helpful when biting into these objects especially round wires and batteries. They also don’t want to dull such important tools on snacks and would rather use them for what their body actually needs to survive
It’s common to see N in particular doing to the scrunchie face as he crunch cronches 
If Clancy has to so much as re-adjust a drones arm back into place or fix one of their teeth he puts them under for it. It’s so much easier to work on a drone thats out cold then one thats scared and squirming. It’s also easier for the drone to, less stress on their minds.
He always holds their hands or cuddles them up when he has to put them under so they aren’t scared as they go under. He does the same thing when waking them up as well. Some times they wake up confused and scared and start crying out, so he’s there to comfort them
One thing he’s noticed is that his drones, particularly the ones that have been resident for a period of time, reach for Clancy in their fear. Despite being in a deeply confused state of mind they still seek Clancy out for comfort and safety.
His bodily warmth, his scent, his voice, his peaceful presence provides them with a safe comforting feeling
Clancy once drove an hour to an auction to retrieve a drone he’d bid on and won online. He already noticed this drone wasen’t in the best condition when he arrived. He was taking them straight home anyways so he would handle the issue at home. At one point roughtly 16 minutes away from home he heard a soft sigh from the backseat followed by complete sighlence. He’d assumed the drone had simply fallen asleep but when he got home and popped open the back cab door he found the drone he only just rescued had passed away in the backseat of his pickup.
There was nothing he could do other than gently place a hand on the drones head and just say “i’m sorry. I’m so so sorry. Rest easy stranger”.
He’s lost drones before, but it’s NEVER easy because he views drones as intelligent beings just like himself, their lives carry the same weight as a human life to him. Deaths, while occasional, never get easier for him. They hit him hard and he mourns their losses
N: “DELIVERY!!!”
He walks in the front door to the dorm. He’s holding the back of Uzi’s head in his hand and the rest if her: back and bum are being supported by the length of his arm so he’s carrying his own partner like a pizza
Nori: “uhh! It’s got mold on it! It’s purple!”
Uzi snickers like a little shit

This is a good ref for what a worker drone fear alert or danger alert sounds like. They make this noise to warn other drones in the area to run and hide. The sound does not drive the other workers towards the one making the call but AWAY. A drone may even make this noise out of base instinct fear while being attacked without really realizing it’s basically a sacrifice call for themselves
Both female and male drones have similar inflections and pitch. The call can sound just as deep and echoing over all drone genders
Both N and J like to do what Thad lovingly calls “the snake”
This is when they lay on their bellies, tuck their arms under their bodies, and just allow their legs to lay straight out behind them. Uzi calls it ‘the superman’ though
Hanna's parents are over for visit. Hanna is in the kitchen whipping up a nice desert. Clancy is sitting on the sofa with her mom and dad, all three swarmed by drones trying to wriggle in as close as they can get for a cuddle with all three. Hanna's mother is gently rubbing her hand over a helmet with a smile
Hanna's father: "what made you take in all these little buggers?"
Clancy: "Most of them I bid on during auctions and won them, they are from all over the world. They needed a safe place to go and they make me happy. I like having them there"
Hanna's mother: "oh! so your a rescue home! what's your favorite part of doing this?"
Clancy: "the transformation they go through. When I bring a new friend home they are scared, they cower, they flinch under normal affection. Over a short period of time I watch that fear fade away. They no longer flinch, they lean into a hug or a head pat. They don't cower when I call for them, they rush over because they know i'm giving them something tasty to eat. Their personalities shine through the terror they believed was normal for their lives. They relax and become lazy, fat even. It's a different life for them and I can see they are happy"
Hanna's mother: ".....HANNA YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO MARRY THIS GUY! REAL GOOD HEART IN THAT ONES CHEST!"
J slowly wakes up to the bed being jostled and shaken around. She slowly blinks out of sleep mode to find a flickering white glow accompanying her. It’s Tessa, she’s awake and seemingly tossing and turning next to J.
J: “…..mmmboss?….w-why are you awake. It’s…..3 in the morning!”
Tessa: “I can’t-…..get back to sleep”
J: “did you have a nightmare? Are you feeling peckish?”
Tessa: “no no…it’s not that…it’s something else”
J: “did you have a flashback!? It’s gonna be ok! Your alright!”
Tessa: “no! No no no! I’m ok! I just…..I gotta pee….”
J: “your a drone now….you don’t uranate”
Tessa: “I know! And thats why it’s freaking me out that I can sort of….feel the sensation of having to pee. I think it’s because 3am was always the time I woke up to go pee when I was a human….and now I have….phantom piss”
J: “……phantom piss?”
Tessa: “PHANTOM PISS!”
J: “don’t yell that at 3 in the morning”
Tessa snickers very reminiscent of Uzi
Cyn is weird. Weird in the sense that if she likes the way someone smells she will rub up on them or their discarded bags/clothes/other belongings.
She likes to mimic, to copy, and that goes for smells as well. It’s not just a Cyn thing ether! but something drones sometimes do. Clancy’s drones often did this with his belongings like his laundry or his bed. They wanted to smell like him. Cricket was well known for breaking the low laying branches off his Christmas trees and rubbing the wet fresh sticks and crushed pine needles on her head and arms. She liked the smell and wanted it to stick to her. Some drones also rolled in dirt, leaves, grass clippings, and even wood chips. All because they liked the smell of that particular object

Tessa is elbow deep, if she had elbows, in the abdomen of a drone attempting to find a blockage in their compactor. Luckily the patient is completely sedated so they aren’t feeling any pain. Tessa is completely still until she begins to feel something.
Tessa: “crikey!”
Tessa’s mentor rolls over to her in his computer chair. He’s right next to her. She looks between the patient and her mentor a few times while shuffling her feet in clear excitement and thrill. Her mentor can tell by the way she shuffles something is on her mind but she can’t find the words to express
???? Mentor: “Tessa. Calm, tell me whats wrong”
Tessa: “T-THe- I FOUND SOMETHING!!!”
She shouts at the top of her lungs. Her mentor leans away from her covering one of his ears.
???? Mentor: “Tess! Hey hey! No need to yell i’m right here”
Tessa: “sorry i’m excited!! Her-h-her compactor is twisted!!”
She’s pretty much stomping her foot in an attempt to keep herself from yelling out of excitement, happy with herself for finding the issue. Another full tome senior mechanic pokes his head into the room with a look of worry.
???? Mentor: “it’s all good. Ms. Shouty Yells a Lot got excited”
???? Senior mechanic: “Tessa you gotta get your yellies under control. Just about shit my pants if I was wearing the pants TO shit”
Tessa is walking with Thad when Thad sees his team
Thad: "are thems the boys!?"
They look up from challenging each other to see how many punches to the compactor they can take. They all smile and begin approaching. Tessa takes a few steps back out of a twinge of fear and anxiety. Rowdy, loud, mean, all these factors exuded from the group. They began swarming around both Thad and Tessa. Thad is instantly scooped into a headlock. The sudden headlock knocks something off his hat Tessa had failed to notice before hand. She looks down at a small rainbow flag pin! the pride flag!
Tessa: "are...you all....p-partners?"
She fearfully stutters out, convinced that they will make fun of her.
????: "wa? no hahah!"
??????: "oh shit hahah! no idiot she's talkin about Thad's pin!"
The second team mate crouches down to pick the pin up and hand it back to Thad
????: "sorry man!"
Thad: "no no. We aren't gay. My moms are"
Tessa: ".....moms?"
??????: "ya!!! he's got 4 moms! it's June 1st! the start of pride month!"
Thad: "I gotta support my mommas!"
????: "we all gotem, see?"
Every single one of the football team moves to show off their own small pride flag pins in various different locations on their outfits
Once Tessa had her own ambaltory drone body she set N, J, and V free. She no longer owns them, they are free from servitude and don’r HAVE to do anything she says anymore
Despite this they still choose to serve her as they did in the past. They still love her with all their hearts it blows others minds when she can get V to do what she says with such relative ease.
She also still refers to them as “my drones” or “my machines” in a loving way
Tessa is jamming her hands into a large pile of scrap. She smiles to herself as she sorts through it. She feels on top of the world shoveling through old dusty dirty scrap. She begins to make a strange noise, something that of a grunt.
Tessa: -grewp...grewp grewp grewp-
The noise catches the attention of another drone next to her, and in turn SHE also begins to make the same noise
????: -grewp grewp grewp grewp-
N turns around from his own position with a different pile of scrap just behind her. He smiles
N: "alright Tessa!!!"
Tessa suddenly slowly stands up with hollowed optics. She looks down at her hands in confusion
Tessa: "I was making that noise!? what-....am I doing!"
N: "drone stuff! you were idoling! it's a noise drones make when they are within their element!"
Thad runs up to N and slaps him gently on the back
Thad: “TAG!! YOUR IT!!!”
He then starts to run away.
Tessa: “OH NO NO NO THAD DON’T RUN AWAY FROM HIM LIKE THAT!!!”
Thad: “COME GET ME-“
Cut to Thad hooked up to a heavy sedation pain med line with his arm being worked on. It’s been clearly and visibly bitten. There are large teeth and fang marks in his upper arm. He’s loopy, immobile, and watching a movie his mom is playing on her phone and holding up for him. N is sat beside his bed with his head in his hands as another of Thad’s moms rubs his back
N: “i’m so sorry Thad! I’m really really sorry!!”
Thad: “dude! I h-have a sick sky demon scar now! Ehehehe!!”
Thad’s mom: “hush greenie beanie your being really loud right now”

Drones actually hold out their arms as if they are falconing so Uzi can land. She’s so small she can easily perch on someone’s arm. She actually lands on all fours since it’s easier to keep a good center of balance. The only downside to doing this is that she flaps her wings in order to better keep that balance and often times whaps someone around the head a few times. Dosen’t hurt but it startles those not used to catching her and they actually drop her out of panic
N and Khan often catch her in this way and have kind of become the official Uzi catchers
Tessa is laying on her back on her bed with a rather large magnet attached to the top of her head, enjoying the effects as she lays there listening to lofi video game music. Her father pokes his head into the room
Heinrich: “kleine Tochter?” (“Little daughter?”) VHAT ZHE!?”
Her fathers sudden voice causes her to jump. She quickly sits up, ripping the magnet off her head
Tessa: “DAD!! IT’S- IT’S NOT WHAT-….ahh hell I can’t lie to you”
Heinrich holds his hand out with his other on his hip
Heinrich: “give zhat!”
Tessa hands over the magnet with a guilty sad look on her face. Heinrich then suddenly plunks the magnet on his own head, grins like a shit, turns, and run shuffles away down the hallway giggling like sneaky thief
Tessa: “what the!? HEY!!!”
