Okay so firstly, thank you! I'm glad you like the story!! <333 Secondly, it's really just zombie mechanics. I didn't want to over-complicate things, and since they're not in a digital universe here, getting infected is more realistic.

I do! Sometimes, I'll have friends help with the colour choices, or the reference choices (I have one friend who's REALLY good at fashion refs, so I'll ask them to help me find designs or costumes I can grab inspiration from).

As for which I like the most, I assume you mean within The Amazing Traveling Circus, correct? I think I like Pomni's the most, Caine's second (because I do love a little dapper man) and then Jax and Gangle are tied for third. There will be other outfit changes they'll have later that I LOVE, and I think Ragatha's and Pomni's will be my favourite from that bunch (and the sequel has updates to everyone's outfits), but because Pomni is my fave girl, she's definitely the one I put the most work into lol.

I'm going to answer this once since it's on tumblr and I don't update my fic updates here normally.

I took a week off and I announced it as such on my Instagram and Twitter last Friday because I was tired, I had orders to fill and I had to catch up on Part 3 writing. I'm STILL not where I want to be with Part 3 because I had to add so much and I struggled with it, but it is what it is for now.

From now on, if you don't see a chapter update at ANY time of the day or night on Fridays, it most likely means it won't be posted that week. Check my Instagram (Ash_Michelle_Sims) or Twitter (AshMichelleSims) for updates. I will usually announce there why it won't be updated.

He doesn't curse himself, other than the occasional "dammit", but he's not about to police every mortal's potty mouth lol. Pomni swears when she gets frustrated, and he just lets her go off.

As for changes, the only changes I'll be making are anything that have to do with Ribbit and Kaufmo's BGs with Jax, and Jax' BG. Not much, since their relationships with Jax DO differ to the ones they have with Jax in the show, given the environment is far different, and I had to switch things about with characters to get the relationship effects I needed for him, but Episode 9 DID help me fill in some holes. Ribbit's relationship with her parents though, definitely helps with the sequel I have in mind, if I ever get that far.

As for Jax' pronouns, for the sake of clarity and story continuity, he will continue to be referred to as he/him throughout TATC, as he is throughout the entirety of the show TADC itself. He is still closeted, and while I will most likely switch to she/her for the sequel (again, only if I ever get to that point after Part 6 is finished and if there's an interest for it), it's just easier and less confusing for readers to stick to one gender when describing a character in writing, as in addressing a character as either he, she or they (or any other pronouns). If you continuously switch, the reader will get confused. That's why I stick to They/them for Zooble, despite Goose stating that they're Genderfluid.

So tldr: Jax will continue to be he/him in TATC, and if my sequel ever gets written, his pronouns will switch to she/her, because he will no longer he closeted to the group at that point.

I do want to find a spot in the narrative where he has a discreet conversation with Pomni about his sexuality, but if it can't be placed anywhere, it'll be something that happens off screen.

now that the finale is fully out, along with the recent goose posts about jax, will it impact the storyline of TATC at all? i’m so curious

I absolutely love your fic and artwork! They're amazing! Your fic inspired me to make my OWN ao3 fic! So, I made one, and now I got a question for you. I only got the first chapter up. How do you stay on top of putting up the new chapters in good time (Considering the fact that you're human and have a life outside of ao3)?

It is a very divisive subject and I like to just let my art speak for itself (experience with fans since working at disney has been eye-opening, I tell you). However, I'll say it here until I begin posting more art about it, because it is an important subject.

I think it's a beautiful representation. I see nothing wrong with it. If artists enjoy it and it's not having some irrevocable change on your life, then leave those artists/people alone. And the same can be said with the other side: if someone doesn't see it the same way, don't shove it in their faces obnoxiously. Both ways will lead to both sides being. It's as bad as ship wars.

Nope, not changing it! The only things that may affect the story will be Ribbit and Kaufmo's roles in Jax' past. I sort of have an idea already, but whatever happens can help me solidify it.

I already have a feeling what will happen in Episode 9, but since my AU takes place in an open world and not inside a digital land created by an AI, the outcomes and relationships are different.
