"Our fathers declare war and our sons suffer the inevitable." β Pravin Gupta, Glimpses of the Future 2 years ago, while the rest world was celebrating the day of love, India woke up to see the sunrise blanketed in a color of blood-red. A situation of grief had wrapped the whole country; like a shroud over a deathbed. Seeing the news on television, I felt as if my heart would come off my ribcage any second. Is it fair to charge someone with the deadliest infliction for loving his country so deeply and selflessly? My mind had gone numb. Adding to the stress, the news channels summoned filthy politicians to debate upon this recent horrific event, who all started fighting with each other, shifting this serious matter into a political affair, blaming each other, intentionally stirring the religious beliefs, doing every possible thing to divert the attention of public off the Pulwama Attack. I was shaken by the response of the media and the government. Instead of trying to stabilize situation, the government threw forward its card to gather votes even in this miserable time. Instead of showing the truth and console the victim's family, the Indian media started spewing hate, taking the side of the government, counterattacking the opposition parties. All these certain disappointing things stimulated my conscience to put forward my thoughts regarding what was going wrong in our system. Thus, I decided to write a book, a book that would display the backside of the manipulation of truth. Religious sentiments, cunningness and corruptness of our government and humanity β taking all in formed an idea that I later put in a book, which I named "Glimpses of the Future". During the lockdown, withing three months of period I completed the draft almost of 244 pages, and after some months, on 17 October, published it. Each and year, hundreds of soldiers die but yet we haven't a stable solution. It's shame for us, that we propel our men forward on the borders, who lay down their lives for our protection but people here don't get tired fighting on religious, politics issues. My book is a tribute to all the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for ours. We must revere their martyrdom. (at Delhi, India) https://www.instagram.com/p/CLQss5WjDcq/?igshid=97bmx97kg168
