i remembered recently that years ago, for my 21st birthday i invited a bunch of my uni friends to my house for (quite possibly the lamest) party. everyone bought snacks and drinks over and we mostly just sat around drinking and talking but at some point we put on youtube and i had the brilliant idea to force all my drunk uni friends into watching CATS of all things lol.
it’s safe to say that (sadly) somehow the magic of cats was lost on a bunch of drunk university students no matter how much i had drunkenly tried to explain it to them in a way that was appealing hahaha
recently one replied to my story on insta from one of the nights i saw the 2025/2026 aus tour saying they went and saw it as well while it was in melb and that they actually very much enjoyed it and thought of me lol. my impact
