The Last Time, Ever by Sasha Sunday (aka me, Encanto Fanto) Camilla hated the white dress they were wearing. They were screaming and stomping their feet. Their Mama, Pepa, was red and crying, a dark storm cloud above her head. Snow was filling the room. Camilla shivered. Camilla’s Dad, Félix, pushed open the door. Making a pile of snow as he did. “Pepa, leave it to me. Okay?” He gently guided Pepa out the door, her face red. “It’s okay, Mi Viva. I’ll handle her.” Camilla looked out the window. Something had just made them feel very uncomfortable. They wanted to curl up in bed and cry, forget about the whole gift ceremony. But outside the window, fireworks were starting to go off.
