Ugh. Trainer Lady killed me this morning with a MAJOR leg work out. Like leg day to the max. Forward lunges, backward lunges, curtsies, squats, goblet squats, Bulgarian squats, full body extensions, burpees. We did it ALLLLLLL. And those stairs in the photo? Those are the stairs at work that I have to go up and down all day. Did I mention the water cooler is upstairs? No? WELL IT IS. Me and my running buddy. :) I keep meaning to snap a photo while outside and on the trail! However I have been much too busy running from Zombies! I've been using an app called Zombies, Run! And I have a strong love/hate relationship with it. The story is post-zombie apocalypse and you run and collect supplies, furthering the story all while evading groups of zombies. You can hear them getting louder when they close in on you and the faster you run the longer you survive. I'm good as long as Copper doesn't cut in front of me. 'Baby steps are still progress.' This has been my mantra the past several weeks and months as I track my progress. I would love nothing more than to see a 6-10 lb difference each week like I see some others doing. I don't think my type of slow and steady weight-loss is a negative reflection on my drive or goals, I just think I've finally found a process that works for me. I am learning to DO more, not necessarily LOSE more. And I see progress (aka losing weight) as I do more of the activities I love. I've hit a great weight loss goal as of this morning (THANK YOU TRAINER LADY!!!) and it gives me quiet and powerful satisfaction to continue and carry on with what works for me. #weightloss #fitfam #fitpics #victory #physicalfitness #hardwork #healthychoices #workhard #slowandsteady
