A few small things for my portrayal of Jing Yuan when it comes to his body because I like details + maybe a few additions or changes.

Jing Yuan's complexion is more that of a medium skin tone instead of very fair or fair.

Firstly is Jing Yuan's hair, it has a lot of thickness & fluff to it where it can at times be a pain to deal with despite the enjoyment he gets from his hair. At night he usually just wears it free out of it's usual ribbon but there are times where he'll put it into a loose braid for an easier next morning. When let down out of the ponytail, his hair reaches more so to the lower part of his upper body.

Another little fact in regards to his hair is that Jing Yuan does cut it himself but mostly just with that of a trim. He sets aside times during the night to where he can properly care for it with a longer deep session of shampooing / conditioning & brushing. It's a bit ( a lot ) of a pain really but he likes his hair the way it is.

His hands are not really gentle or soft due to his palms being heavily calloused from years of battle, training & heavy hand usage.

Jing Yuans fingers have small knicks carved out in them from a lot of that usage, weapon maintenance but overall just using his hands for a lot of his work. His body does bear those of past scars as well from the many battles that he has been in, most being located on the upper portion of his body with a few rare ones finding themselves on his legs.

Outside of the scars Jing Yuan does have moles scattered about the skin of his body as well. There is a smattering amount of them placed on his shoulders, upper / lower back, his butt, arms & the upper part of his thighs. This is outside of the teardrop mole beneath his eyes since these other ones are usually not seen.

My main verse for Caelus follows the normal in game timeline / events but I do have an AU main verse of sorts for him as well. It's basically the other side of when trailblazer is faced with the first choice -- where if he stayed at the Herta Space Station instead of joining the Astral Express. So basically the researcher Caelus scenario.

For the most part I have Caelus choosing to remain at the Space Station as a way to look more into his own existence & who he is. He's not really a researcher per say at the station since it's a process in order to get in. Caelus is instead a part of the security team especially considering what happened when the Anti - Matter Legion attacked. On the side he does research into Stellarons, Aeons, helps with the Simulated Universe + multiple other things.

I see him remaining on the station up until right before Amphoreus so that leaves him there for a little over 2 years. This is more of a 'good route' for Caelus since I see him deciding to leave the station for the Astral Express. That can remain left up to plotting with individuals however since I'll be focusing more on the before then when on the AE. The way this occurs, or comes to happen, will be left vague for the time being unless otherwise plotted out.

In this au I do have him solely as a pathstrider of Destruction after the defeat of the doomsday beast, this added to his decision even more on staying behind. Additionally, Caelus's appearance is a bit different in that he doesn't wear the same outfit as in canon but wears a white undershirt + a long black overcoat. He ties the base of his hair into a small ponytail much like this. The rest of his bodily appearance however stays the same with this verse, headcanon to be added soon.

This is kind of just a general appearance / body headcanon for Caelus since some of my thoughts diverge from canon.

Caelus has very light freckles on his face. Much like how it's pictured in this image here. This applies to the overall appearance of his skin, the very light freckles mostly being seen on the chest & abdomen + his limbs outside of his face.

His body isn't like that of a normal humans despite having a heartbeat & pulse like any other. The blood that runs in his veins isn't that of a red color but is instead gold. This is something that Caelus doesn't really share with other people, tends to keep as a 'secret' to himself.

This is similar to how Caelus's e6 eidolon looks, in that he does have a permanent golden star shape on the chest portion of his body. It has him more so holding like a star but for my writing I have it being a mark on the skin due to the stellaron within.

Here's some random information for my writing about Caelus, not canon divergences per say but things I wish to take note of. More tidbit posts in the future.

Caelus likes to find broken things or old items that no longer work because sometimes it's a nice challenge. He's pretty good with his hands but tinkering to try & fix things is a good way for distracting his mind. This mostly focuses on say broken old furniture, game systems / electronics or fading away antiques. Caelus though knows that not all broken things can be fixed but he will still try, things like that help him view a relation to people of sorts.

I had a thought for Caelus while I was playing some of the Snack Dash event on HSR. So I’m making a headcanon for it, which will apply for my Researcher Caelus verse included.

That thought being, when it comes to the little cat cake creations. Caelus feels some type of kinship with them in the sense of them being living creatures that were created. It fits with the intro we see for his creation & Kafka’s words right after regarding to how he’ll be left behind all alone on the space station. There are other words which make that less anxiety inducing or fear but it’s something that stuck with me. He understands probably a bit of what these creatures are feeling. It’s why when he’s a researcher, Caelus probably tends to look to them for company over the others on the space station ( this would apply for canon verse as well ). This is added on to the fact that Caelus finds socializing to be difficult where it less is with the cat cakes.

Some really important information for Blade's portrayal when it comes to his darker tendencies. That being the mara & his desire for death.

The first being that Blade isn't like a gung ho on wanting to stab every single person he sees. He can be violent but it's not like the man goes out seeking to kill people for the mere fun of it. It all varies on what Elio's script does & doesn't say. The other thing being that his mara brings out the sides of him that aren't him. Mara brings out the violent parts of him, the anger, hatred to where it's difficult to even remain in his own aware state. Outside of that, Blade is really just someone who keeps to himself. He's quiet, tired & in a constant state of pain. He doesn't let himself get super close to people because of the risk + what he seeks at the end.

A little headcanon about Jing Yuan's cats since he has two cats in canon verse then one cat in modern au verse.

In canon he has two black cats that are siblings, can be a bit on the shy side at first but warm up after a bit. They are sisters with one being named Xiao Mi ( little rice ) & the other being named Mao ( cat ). The name Mimi was just one that he could never adopt for another creature since Mimi is Mimi. To name another with the same name even if to honor a legacy, didn't feel right to him. They're rather playful with toys, loving to play hide & seek in any little spots or crevices they can find in Jing Yuan's home. Jing Yuan enjoys basking out in the garden sunlight with them during those rare moments of rest. He usually opts for letting them come outside into the garden when watering the plants or doing any care in the morning.

not mentioning any 6.6 leaks here at all but mostly just wanting to make a note of how I see Lohen at least for my portrayal. only because I've seen some fanon stuff that I'd rather turn away right now for me.

the first being that I don't see Lohen as someone whose a sadist or sadistic, I'd say that he has some tendencies but it really depends because Lohen first & foremost is still a knight. lohen is pretty open about his quirks or tendencies so it's not some secret from people on how he is. someone can enjoy combat, the thrill of battle & the feeling of adrenaline while not being some absolute psycho. my vision at least is that he enjoys being able to go neck & neck with those at the same level as him, that allows him to push himself further & further. if he can make them bleed by landing certain shots, bring that side out of them which he feels in himself, to connect with other people in this same way. if you're not that kind of way, not a person who enjoys combat, then Lohen is more likely to just not care honestly. he's not going to pursue things that bare no fruit or don't hold his interest & focus. if he's bored then that's when lohen kind of just fucks off, shrugs or generally doesn't care.

the second being, yandere. i have my own thoughts about lohen when it comes to interpersonal relationships with other people regardless of the type. my thinking for lohen is that he is loyal, nothing can change that, & fiercely so. he'd be the same with people that he cares about but not to the point of being posessive about, protective yes. that depends though on the type of dynamic & person because everyone has different styles of things when it comes to their dynamics with other people. he has respect for people, cares for people ( like mika for example ) & maybe that's odd but if it leads to a good dynamic where he can do what he loves while helping someone out. that's pretty good in Lohen's book, a beneficial relationship, & he'd be pretty respectful to those kinds of people. the man just has an ... odd way about showing his care but it wouldn't go so far as being violent or obsessive towards them since as I said. the one thing I will say which he can be borderline obsessive with is the thought of sparring or fighting with certain others, at least in the sense of asking when he gets the chance. no he won't purposefully stalk someone to constantly ask them because that won't change the answer but there are more patient ways to do so.

some additional tidbits for Lohen because he has my braincell at the moment.

he has an interest in plants especially carnivorous ones or those that look beautiful but are deadly. lohen would like to visit Sumeru for an extended time just to study some of the wild life.

lohen’s given himself small doses of poison over the span of his life. this is both to build up some sort of immunity to them while having curiosity on the pushing of his own limits.

he tends to be bad about noticing any sort of wounds when it comes to post battle aftercare. it's not that Lohen can't feel the pain but relishes in feeling such things, pushing himself in the heat of battle. he enjoys the thrill of it, the adrenaline, which tends to mask those hidden & quicker placed wounds.

Consider this my post of all the important Blade character portrayal notes that either deviate from canon or just some things I wanna emphasize on. These will be included for both Yingxing then Blade respectably. My portrayal of Blade is canon divergent.

CANON DIVERGENCE.

When it comes to his birth name, it was not Yingxing but something else that has since been lost to him. Much of what Yingxing remembers in regard to his childhood is drowned in the imagery of blood. The grief & loss. He doesn’t remember the name he once bore even more so hardly remembers the faces of his family as the years went by. Yingxing was the name given to him by Huaiyan once deciding to train under him. I have a headcanon here for most recent name labeling.

The saying ' of 5, 3 must pay the price ' is not said by Blade at all since it was a saying mostly adopted from Jingliu. It doesn't take away the fact however that he does see himself as someone that has to pay a price for what occurred.

Blade does have lingering anger towards Dan Feng for the pure purpose of thinking he did something wrong during the whole process or caused him to turn this way. It's why that anger was taken out on Dan Heng even if such a thing wasn't right to do so. As for the chance of some sort of 'civility / reconciliation', that'd be possible but would take a lot lot of work, that can be left up to plotting ( for both Dan Heng or any Dan Feng muses ). This will vary though from portrayal to portrayal as well.

THE BODY.

Firstly being that for my writing of Blade, I see his hair being more of an inky black color with a blue / purple sheen to it ( much like that of a raven's feather ) but without the red tint at the ends. Yingxing at the time of the sedition for me was somewhere in his early 50s to mid 50s. When he was younger his hair was the same color that Blade's is but prematurely started turning a grayish - white due to both genetics + life stress, somewhere in his early to mid 40s.

Now for the skin, Yingxing's hands were rather rough & calloused when it came to the skin from all the years of working as a forger. This is how it'd been for most of his life considering he'd been doing this work for much of his life. His face does have rather prominent wrinkles ( crows lines, frown lines, tear throughs ).

For Blade the once calloused & rough hands are now smoother which only brings about a solemn feeling due to how he'd once found pride in such a thing. He has crows lines & the tinge of dark circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep each night.

My writing of Yingxing instead has him with very light blue eyes that do sometimes appear purple at times from light reflection. Blade's eyes are that of a golden amber - red which makes it appear close to the colors of a fire. In modern verses Blade's eyes are an amber - brown instead.

When it comes to canon verses, Blade's scarring is not as bad for my portrayal in comparison to in game. He has tried multiple ( a lot ) suicide attempts, fighting against Dan Heng & having been in battle as a Stellaron Hunter. The scarring is more moderately medium but in AU verses it's equal to in game appearance.|

Yet another muse body headcanon image to go right here. This time for Rogue Cheney featuring his body scars & the wing tattoo that he has on the right side of his back. Rogue has a large amount of scars on his body from his years of training, battles & missions. His hair is more on the thicker side so he tends to wear it up in a ponytail more often then not.

This is the verse information for Dan Feng's modern verse but it has two different paths, one being for the modern verse created by @deadn30n & the other just being a basic modern verse. The specifics are both are down below but marked as such to differentiate. Keeping the same tag but interactions will differentiate between the two.

The other thing to keep in mind is that Dan Feng's birth name in both verses is Yinyue but is usually referred to by Yue. He does prefer to go by Dan Feng since it's the name that he's picked for himself, usually those closest to him call him that.

For Alex's modern verse: The premise for Dan Feng is that he was once a doctor at the hospital but resigned from his position after being discovered as having mara-sickness. He is one of the barista's at HCQ Coffee but does private under the table doctoral work for those in need especially those who have the sickness as well. This is something that is kept to himself so as not to leave knowledge of it with others. The want for helping others has never been able to leave him even if things left a bitter taste in his mouth.

For the other modern verse branch, Dan Feng was once a doctor for a practice but left the city when it dissolved from complications. He now works as the singular doctor for a small town in the outskirts, adjusting to the 'simpler' life that it brings. Yinyue has a pet leopard gecko named Jún as well, a backyard garden with a small pond & greatly enjoys partaking in warm baths.

I know that not much is known about Varka so I’m kind of waiting on more knowledge to come out about him. These are some of the headcanons that I specifically have for my portrayal of him as of this moment. A bit on the divergent side as well.

Varka’s lineage is partially from Nod Krai but Mondstadt as well, his mother having been from Nod Krai while his father was from Mondstadt. He was raised for the most part in Mondstadt, its culture & traditions, but did occasionally make visits to Nod Krai with his mother growing up. Varka has learned much about Nod Krai’s own way of life especially in how having the freedom to be whoever or whatever you want prevails there, much like Mondstadt’s own ode to freedom.

For me, his age is that of his early 40s.

In terms of body physique, Varka does have the hourglass like body shape but there is a bit more fat on his mid - lower body section. It’s in the sense of natural healthy weight instead of the look of tight muscles. The attire he wears on the upper portion of his body does kind of pull it in but when in the nude or wearing loose clothing, it’s more seeable.

Body hair, he actually has a lot of it. The man has a happy trail running down along the lower portion of his body all the way to his crotch. He doesn’t shave it but does trim it here & there sometimes to keep it tamed. Yes, he has chest, arm & leg hair as well.

His personality for me is one that could be described as chaotic — not easily predicted in his actions or what he does. Varka isn’t carefree in his actions but tends to just not sweat the details so much. He’s not an open book when it comes to the things that do bother him or what he’s going to do. A box full of surprises.

This is an overall general fandom less fantasy verse for Jing Yuan that has him being that of a Chinese fox spirit. A good portion is rooted from the Huli jing when some sprinklings of my own.

In this verse Jing Yuan is 755 yrs old as a fox spirit. His form is more humanoid currently without the ability to shapeshift into a full fox, whether that will ever happen remains to be seen. Jing Yuan still holds the ability to shift parts of his appearance so as to hide the more 'animalistic' parts of himself ( i.e. his fox ears, sharp teeth & tail ). This hardly becomes seen to a mortals eyes but in rare cases where he deems someone 'trustworthy' then the illusion may slip.

When it comes to Jing Yuan as a fox spirit. His being is that of half human / half fox spirit. His father being that of a human while Jing Yuan's mother was that of a spirit. Most of his life was spent being raised by her up until a certain point where he left. This leaves him in a different area then most of his kind in containing both the blood of a human & the spirit of a fox.

When it comes to his abilities, Jing Yuan is able to create illusions + disappearing then reappearing as if becoming mist. It's the more mischievous side of him that enjoys playing tricks on humans or in his words 'having a bit of fun'. He does appear as a warm & kind individual, someone who welcomes the company of another, but that isn't always the case. It varies from person to person but also can be dependent on Jing Yuan's own intentions. Sometimes indifference shows, or the more deadlier nature of himself should something be taken as a threat.

This is kind of just a little headcanon about G'raha Tia when it comes to the Warrior of Light & that of the dynamic which he has with them. I myself like them as anything but personally can not see them being anything more then platonic prior to patch 5.5.

The dynamic in regards to G'raha when it comes to the Warrior of Light could be better described as someone that idolizes another person. G'raha has always been enthralled with tales of heroes & those who fit that hero archetype ever since his youth & the WoL is someone who fits that category to him. When it comes to them, G'raha only knows the tales about the warrior of light in comparison to perhaps their deeper personal feelings & self. It fits how a fan would see that of a celebrity, someone who looks up to & idolizes but has no deep personal connection.

The two do work alongside one another during the Crystal Tower alliance story series ( I see that lasting at least 3 months minimum ) so some connection could be made through there but that would vary per WoL muse. In Shadowbringers however G'raha does all his plans based off that which he has read in books, heard through stories & tales from other people & the fact that the WoL inspires hope among other people. He only knows the WoL on a surface level through other means instead of through the person themselves which is something that he comes to realize during the events of Shadowbringers.
