To be clear, I’m not saying that triggers don’t exist. That is entirely not true nor what I am saying AT ALL. I just don’t understand how someone could take these mundane things and turn them into triggers. Isn’t that an insult to people who have actual triggers that are on the extreme side the spectrum?

I also think it’s kind of insane to completely hate a person just because they associate with the sex and gender they were assign to at birth. You don’t see me hating people just because they don’t. Right? So why should it be the other way around?

And to top is all off I would like to say something that I feel strongly about. Self diagnosis does not exist. It is not a thing and it never will be. You were not trained to spot out these illnesses and reading a Wikipedia page does not make you an expert. I have one thing to say to these people who believe in self diagnosis: If you truly believe that you may be suffering from these illnesses, please go see a certified professional. Get help. Live life to the fullest. Do it for yourself and do it for the people who you love and who love you. It is a heavy burden that not only you are carrying around, but also everyone around you. I know. I’ve been there, done that.
