Men are using gender theory to avoid accusations of misogyny when abusing/insulting women online. Having ‘they/them’ on your Tumblr/Twitter is the ultimate get out of jail free card. You can be outed as a literal paedophile, yet the comments will just be ‘erm yeah sweety this person may be a paedophile but they also use they/them pronouns? And you said him? You’re literal trash lol bye.’ Men whose one sop (sic) to feminine appearance is wearing eyeliner or nail varnish are now accusing women of 'trying to kill them’. Yeah, a white suburban teen who borrows his sister’s makeup is truly at a risk of violence (from radical feminists, of course, not men) on a par with that of a trans sex worker in Brazil. How silly of me not to realise this. Women who are all 'Kill all men! Misandry!!!’, yet will defend the most manly looking, misogyny/racism/homophobia-spouting man if he claims to be a woman. 99% of feminist spaces have been taken over by trans debate. Violence has been redefined as 'was a bit mean to me on the internet once’ (and of course, rape threats/death threats to radical feminists aren’t violent at all.) 'Terfs have caused the deaths of over 50,000 trans women’ - what? I’ve seen intelligent grown women reblog this unquestioningly - how on earth can they think that’s true?

Feminism is a house.

A house built by women, all the things in it were made or bought by women, women pay the gas and electricity bills, they stock the fridge, they do the cooking and the cleaning and the washing. If the roof leaks or a tap drips it is fixed by a woman and the people who live there are all women.

As a man and a Feminist or Feminist Ally, you are a guest.

It is not your house, you did not build it or buy it, nothing in it was bought or made by you or for you. You do not pay the bills and you do not run the household.

Sure being there has lots of good things for you, you are enjoying it’s hospitality, using it’s towels and shower, getting fed.

But it isn’t yours.

And as a guest you should behave with respect towards the house and its owners. You don’t critique the decor or complain about the food.

And as a guest, you are there out of the kindness and generosity of your hosts, and you can be asked to leave at any time, even for a reason which you don’t agree with, because it is their house, and you are a guest.

What men in Feminism so often do is treat it like it is their house. You walk in the door and start complaining that none of the post is addressed to you and that none of the shoes left by the door fit you. You insist that everyone watches your TV shows and demand that the owners make space on the shelves for you books and DVD’s. You tell the owners that the kitchen should be painted white instead of yellow, and then get out the paint and brushes and start re-decorating without asking permission. And then you ring up the utilities supplier and try to get them to change the name on the account to yours.

And then women stop you and say “This is our house, treat it and us with respect”.

And then you tell us that we should be grateful that you are here in our house, sleeping in our guest bed, eating our food and sitting on our sofa.

And sometimes you storm off and out of the house, slamming the door on the way, and then stand outside throwing mud at the windows, because how dare we decide what goes on in our own house and who inhabits it?

You are a guest in a house built by and for women. Remember that.

Treat us and our movement with respect, do not demand entry to it, any more than you would demand entry to someone else’s home. 

This house that we have built is the only place that we can be safe.

a pretty standard arrangement for engagement rings. a raised stone is better than nothing. 3/10

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A transgender woman is recovering from serious injuries after she was attacked in a west Charlotte park last week.

Federal authorities confirmed Monday that they are working with Charlotte-Mecklenburg police as the department investigates the attack.

“I really felt like I was dying slow,” said the 24-year-old, who is known as Ralayzia. She spoke with Channel 9 via video call on the condition that her face was not shown.

Ralayzia said she was at Clanton Park, near Clanton Road and West Boulevard, around 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 7 when she saw a group of people walking past.

When looking up “derrick horton ralayzia” (Derrick Horton is Ralayzia Taylor’s legal name, which was only mentioned in the article that mentioned the sexual assault), the same news sources show up, but with revised articles that came out three days later, clarifying that one of the attackers was a 15-year-old who had been sexually assaulted by Horton.

How did you get that impression? Being a terf is disgusting and refusing to date trans women is transphobic and unjustifiable. Nobody on this blog has a different opinion than that.

But some trans women have vaginas. And refusing to date someone is different from refusing to make sex with them.

the actual refusal of sex is not the transphobic part. Its the REASON.

i agree 100%. and yet i see arguments that these things are transphobic a dozen times in a week and i follow like 10 blogs and no tags. i’m not exaggerating. i have been told that girl dick is not the same as boy dick (believing otherwise makes you a transmisogynist) and that you are transphobic if genitalia factor into who you have sex with. i have been told that women like me reduce women to their genitals because we like vulvas and vaginas and they play a big role in our satisfaction during sex. someone called me out as transmisogynistic because i made a post about how much i like the smell of the vagina last week ffs.

there is a terrifying push to normalize this rape activism that targets specifically lesbians and liberal feminists have remained silent or they repeat it themselves.
