havent been on in a hot minute, but Ive decided to turn this into a blogging blog (it was first a ROTPL blog)
The idea for a blog has been on my mind for a minute. It started out as an idea to work on my writing as my dream is to be an author. As I know my writing skills l can use more work, and I can expand my writing horizons with my blog. This blog will let me share my life stories with everyone and hopefully spread positivity. I’ve dealt with plenty in my 27 years (almost 28 - God, I’m getting old) despite leading a somewhat boring life. I don’t have the best of both worlds (no promises not to make any more puns).I’m just a girl, sitting at my laptop with a dream. The only thing interesting about me is that I consider myself Deadpool. “Emily, why do you consider yourself Deadpool?” You ask. Well, I was born with a bilateral clip lip and palate, along with heart issues. I’ve had multiple surgeries, and been in a bad car accident and as Elton John says “I’m still standin” and I’m about to let you not just into my life but the somewhat chaos that I call my mind.
Emmy’s Corner isn’t just a blog, it’s a cool blog (remember, I didn’t promise not to make puns). The name comes from a childhood nickname, and the fact that ever since I was a child I would willingly sit in the corner. Baby put herself in the corner. So sit back, buckle up and enjoy the chaos and weirdness.
