Shadow Weaver wasn’t even redeemed. Her “sacrifice” was a completely selfish final guilt-trip, designed to cause Catra and Adora to feel that they owed her gratitude and remember her fondly in spite of the horrific ways she abused them both. I see so many say that she sacrificed herself out of the goodness of her heart, as if only then did she realize how horrible she’d been, and it’s so dumb.
