also glad you love the colours, perhaps a little antithetical to the whole 'self-hating-artist' thing but I was looking over some of my s1 hotd art and I'm pretty proud of how much I've progressed in the art department...hopefully by s4 I'll be even better :)

I was thinking recently how all of my favourite fan works (fic, art, etc) do a really good job of making the work feel 'inhabited', like the character(s) lives an entire life and the work is just offering me a glimpse into one moment, and I always hope that my art has the same effect. (I'm not sure if thats what you're saying, but I hope it is!)

Definitely hoping I'll eventually get a little bit of a breather between my corporate job and grad school and I can do it again!
