Well, while parts of this site are down, I am going to be posting a few “easy” posts to get the week moving and an easy transition to next week. I’d like to get onto a weekly Monday * Wednesday * Friday post schedule. I got tagged quite a while back by a couple friends and never got around to it, so here we go: Feel free to tag yourself if anyone wants to do it! 1.What is your favorite Funko POP from your collection: Oswald Cobblepot

A common, I know, but before this was added to my collection, it was a tie between two others which are a couple of my most valuable, but I am a HUGE Batman fan and Oswald is my absolute favorite - especially the presentation of the character done by Robin Lord Taylor in Gotham. Absolutely brilliant. And my cat is named Oswald.. so...

2. What is your least favorite Funko Pop from your collection? Scrump

I hate this question just because I don’t buy funkos, just to buy them, but I’m very particular with my collection and as time goes further on, i’m getting even more pickier. This one I did want, however if this was a new one today, I probably wouldn’t have purchased it. Hell, Lilo and Stitch is one of my favorite Disney movies and I don’t even own Lilo.  Go figure.

3. What is your favorite series? Batman: Arkham Asylum

This took quite a bit of thinking, but it’s the absolute truth. The Batman Arkham line put the whole collecting thing for me in a whole different level. In fact, the entire Arkham everything line - Arkham Knight and the unreleased Arkham City are all incredible and I think Funko did them such justice in the line.  Except they didn’t do Killer Croc as a 6 inch,,,  But, you’ll hear enough of my bitching in the future.

4. What is your newest funko pop/ the newest one you bought? Harley Quinn: Arkham Knight

I’ve actually been on a bit of a funko break, but next week, I’m getting back into my groove and making a much needed trip to Hot Topic and picking up a few I’ve missed. I knew though when she was hitting shelves, I needed her ASAP because Harley is my absolute favorite and this by far is my favorite design of her. She actually was released the same time in stores as the Gotham line, so I was able to pick both her and Oswald Cobblepot at the same time, but I picked to do her, because I already did him in something.

5. What is your oldest/ first funko pop you ever bought? Dumbo

Dumbo did it for me! A trip to Barnes and Noble and I was cutting through the pops and saw the Dumbo (had a huge thing for elephants at the time) and knew he was too cute to pass up. That’s when this funko bandwaggon got unhitched.

6. What is your most valuable funko pop/ worth the most? Regina SDCC exclusive

Currently worth $185.00 on PPG I paid $44 dollars shipped on Gemini during their SDCC sale and I staked out hard and was determined to get her, Failure was not an option. Thankfully she was my most wanted piece from SDCC and I was able to get her for a steal!

7. What is the best funko pop you have ever found in stores? Zero (Chase)

The first chase I ever wanted BAD and It became my first ever chase found! A late night after work spur of the moment trip to Hot Topic had me picking up a funko pop and then looking around the store to find another for 50% off. Found him tucked away in a Nightmare Before Christmas corner and got very lucky!

8. What is your favourite Funko pop exclusive? Lumiere (Hot Topic GITD exclusive)

One of my earlier funko pops, was one I didn’t even know I wanted. Probably one of the most brilliant funko pop exclusives ever - I mean, come on, it’s a glow in the dark CANDLESTICK. Couldn’t have done a better one if they tried.  Hit it out of the park with this one.

9. What funko pops would you use to make a rainbow? ( Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)

Red - Queen Jupiter

10. What is your grail pop that you do not own? Penguin

Ugh, bite me question. Isn’t it obvious? The penguin. Not going to lie, probably won’t ever get him, but hey, a girl can dream, right?

Regina is the ‘Evil Queen’ from Snow White trapped in the world of Storybrooke, Maine, along with every other storybook character with a twist - she is the reason every story book character doesn’t remember who they are. The Evil Queen inducted a curse in a world where everyone is under her power, unaware of their true being except her.

Now, let’s take a closer look at this funko pop:

Hands down my biggest want out of Comic Con this year, I told myself I would do anything to get her. Hunt websites, make trades, even break down and pay a scalper. Luckily I only had to do the one.

After I got home from my mega Comic - Con hunting trip, I fired up my laptop and logged onto PC and waited for them to put up their Comic - Con stock. Lucky for me, they were only 12 thousand hours late. Finally when the website refreshed, I scrolled down to get a fresh look and was sourly disappointed to find my most sought SDCC want was not there. Surprisingly, I took the news well considering all my wasted time, but I held onto hope that Gemini would get her. 3 days of watching and one refresh to find yet another SDCC wave on the website with yet again, no Regina. A quick refresh and low and behold she was there and I was lucky enough to snag her up. I got her for $39.99 which you may think is a large sum to pay for one funko, but seeing the price on ebay and later Gemini did put her back up for an even larger price, but she was absolutely well worth it. Especially for a 1008 piece.

Beginning with the box:

Everything about this pop is fantastic and stunningly beautiful - especially the gorgeous box they designed for her.

Here we have the front of the box. The pop! logo indicated she and the rest of the future ‘Once Upon A Time’ line aren’t in any broad set, but a basic of their own. The ‘Once Upon A Time’ logo across the top is in all gold on a light grey background with a darker gray silhouetting trees. She is number 274.

The side of the box has the full detailed body artwork with the same light grey background and two different shades of shaded trees.

Here along the back, we have a broader look at the background and the complete collection of characters available for this line. Hoping that they’ll do another Wave to this series, because i’m still pissed there isn’t a Henry holding the book. But that’s just my opinion.   So far, the rest of the set hasn’t been released yet, but everywhere i’ve seen has been shooting for a September 2015 release. The set includes: Number 267 - Emma Swan Number 268 - Regina  Number 269 - Snow White Number 270 - Prince Charming Number 271 - Rumplestiltskin  Number 272 - Captain Hook Notice how the SDCC Regina and the regular Regina share two different numbers. And how our line ends with 272, but this SDCC Regina is number 274. I’m hoping this means we will see a variant as number 273 - (hoping for a regular Mr. Gold!)

Very obviously there is a sticker placed over Rumplestiltskin’s image. Now, I’m very much too chicken to rip that off and i’m not an OOB collector so, ain’t no way I am, but from what I’ve heard it was just covering an error in the spelling for his piece on the box. I know everyone was hoping for underneath to be a regular Mr. Gold, but alas, sadly it’s not.

Finally, we have the side window of the box and the top lid.

With her name, number, and her cute ass face peaking up on both sides.

Now, let’s get into the pop!

Starting from where we pull her out of the box, she comes in a plastic sleeve with the push “buttons” in the bottom to keep the pop secure in place and from flying out when you pull her out. We first saw this new addition when ‘The Lion King’ pops were released a little less than a year ago and to be honest, I haven’t seen much of these inserts yet. I’ve seen a few, but it’s so little, that I can’t pick it out of my brain and remember which pop. What’s the deal, funko? However, I am glad with how special of a pop she is and especially since I open my boxes from the bottom that they included it with her. Here’s on the lookout at the inserts when the rest of the OUAT set is released.

When you pull her out of the box, it’s hard to not say that she’s a stunner. Absolute perfection and I think some of Funko’s finest work yet.

If you’ve seen ‘Once Upon A Time’ then you know how extravagant the costume design and creations are so, funko couldn’t include everything.

Regina has a crap ton of outfits and different “evil” dresses that out of all of them, this is the one I found to be the closest and my idea of what they used as representation for her pop.

The bodice is pretty much spot on and I adore the fact that they made the entire thing glitter. Since her skirt isn’t glitter, but they chose to exclude her large overflowing cape, i’m glad they chose to do that added effect. The glitter is absolutely beautiful and it is everywhere!

With the side view, you can also see the patches of empty that the dress has, but it doesn’t really effect the overall look. Along with that, you can also see in her hand above that she has a ring painted silver on her finger.

Here we have the back of the pop with the lovely glitter. The lines defining the bodice top from the skirt are also cleanly added with no bare spots. The glitter they used this time, they chose a different path than before. This glitter doesn’t come off with your hands and in fact, it’s not on the surface.

It feels that they decided to mix the glitter in with the paint and put it on that way.  Also important to note, is the pleaded skirt - you can see along the patches in between the glitter that the skirt is molded and sculpted to show the layering and how the dress falls as it comes out into a penguin tail shaped train on the ground.

Here we have a full close up on the detail of her dress, but the real focus is on the heart in her hand. I assumed when I saw it that it was originally an apple just like the regular design, but part of the exclusiveness is her having a heart in her hand. If you haven’t seen the show, one of Regina’s abilities is that she’s able to rip people’s hearts out - literally with her bare hands and can “control” a person so to say with it. Also, you can see clearly now at this angle that she has a little necklace painted on and it’s a clean silver and done beautifully to match.

The last thing I want to look at is her hair. The sculpt on it is magnificent and extraordinarily executed and it really isn’t a testament to how far they’ve come in years. She’s actually one of the tallest pops not being a 6 inch because of her hair alone. I also ADORE the little mole she has painted on her face and the metallic silver eye shadow.

You can see her hair is up in a bun, but there’s more detail than just that. It’s not just ‘bun and done’ the carving and sculpt show every fold, curl, and detail you could possibly see.

Something I’ve seen a lot of people angry with - with her is the quality control of the paint of her hair. Along the ear, you can see paint overlapping and uneven against the parts of her hair and originally, I thought it was just a paint flaw, but I came across the proto and it’s entirely black! The vinyl she’s made of is completely black!

She’s on of the few pops that have the flesh painted on and that’s why there are “flaws”. It’s the peach paint not getting painted evenly and not the hair!

Along with that, another common flaw I’ve seen is across her face is a black “smear” Originally, I thought it looked like someone dropped some black paint on her face and wiped it off, but now that her undercolor is black, it’s just an even coat not put on her face correctly. 

Another random thing i’ve seen in “freak cases” I’d say, is that some people are getting her with her face smashed. It almost looks like when you push in a barbies face - that effect, but with her vinyl mold. Luckily, I didn’t get one with that case, especially since I didn’t get to see it - ordering blindly from Gemini, but that’s something I’d be on the lookout for if you’re ordering from an ebay seller. - Check the face.

And here’s a closer look up on the back of her head where all of her hair is sculpted to come back into another bun. Something else you can see if you look closely, is her collar around her neck. In the show, it’s much larger and rounded around her head, but they folded it down and made it smaller to fit in proportion to the figure.

I personally just LOVE her! She is hands down my favorite figure in my collection and I cannot wait to get the rest of the future set to complete it all together! She is on that if you have the chance to get your hands on randomly, you’ll regret in the future if you don’t pick her up!

Things to remember when ordering:

If you are going to order her from someplace like ebay or a second hand seller, make sure because of how expensive she is that you can get a 360 look on all the things that most people have found flaws with when they’ve received her.

Her dress: Look for clean, straight sliver pointed lines along her dress - and if you can get an OOB 360 look - along her backside too.

Her face: Because her mold and original coloring is underneath, a lot of people are finding a common smear across her face, above her eyes.

Her hands: To me it’s not that big of a deal, but i’ve seen a lot of people complain about how clean her hands are considering they’re painted over the black - just like her face.

Her face?: I’ve seen it manly on the boards, but a lot of people have received her with a dent in her face - look for that.

So, last year during this comic con time, I was in the middle of a really scary neighborhood in a really bad part of town both house and baby sitting. The week I was doing it was smack dab in the middle of the comic con events at Barnes and Noble (Last year, Hot Topic did theirs later and spread out at different times throughout the country.) and I was now just minutes away from a location and had all the plans to go and pick up a few funkos.  That was not the case. Driving to the middle of nowhere in the worst part of town is a great place to run over things people leave in the road making your tire explode and shred. Fantastic. I didn’t have any ride to go to the funko thing until at least 5 o’clock that night and by that time, it didn’t even matter. Last year with the Barnes and Noble exclusives, I just wanted the Elsa to go with my Frozen set, but because my tire decided to be naughty, I didn’t get to go to that location until that night and by that time, they had sold out of her. They had every other exclusive, but her.

Day Seven: June 22nd, 2015

Princess Leia - Star Wars; Boushh Unmasked variant

Now, I’m not a Star Wars fan, but I have always had a soft spot for Princess Leia ( I have a cat named after her ) but this is not a pop! that will be going into my collection. However, the detail on this pop is incredible! Hats off to funko for really kicking this one up!

Not a Marvel fan, not an Avengers fangirl, but holy cow balls this is a cutie of a pop! I know he’s the villian and he’s trying to be evil, but this mold makes him look so cute!

Oh look, another Lil’ Gruesome. However, this one I love.  I adore metallic variants and this one is done so beautifully that I can’t help but smile looking at the colors. So far, the best color variant for this piece thus far.

Rocket Raccoon - Guardians of the Galaxy; Rocket & Potted Groot

I have not seen Guardians of the Galaxy, but for some reason the Rocket pop! has always appealed to me, however I haven’t found a pop! (besides flocked) that I have wanted. Same with Groot. Hello, best of both worlds. I had a feeling we would be seeing another Rocket variant and it is so cool to see the combination of the two! I adore it!

My favorite Terminator movie out of them all, and this is such a monumental scene in the movie that it is so cool to see this come to life in a ReAction figure. I am not a collector of ReAction figures, but this one is hella cool.

Dr. Egon Spengler - Ghostbusters; Marshmallow covered

HELL YES. Called it. Egon is hands down my favorite Ghostbuster, so seeing this is a real treat. I won’t be getting it, but I think it is so adorable and such a good style for these characters to translate onto our shelves for another life. Wonderful.

Pretty simple, an unmasked variant. I really love the draping of the hood over his face and the bends and folds in it. Other than that, manly because I haven’t seen it, my concern is why is he called THE Arrow? Just a question

Baymax - Big Hero 6; Glitter Translucent Emoticon variant

Same with Rocket, I’ve been trying to find a Baymax I wanted and this one is so so cool. I love the translucent glitter variant of ANY pop! Glitter is hands down my favorite variant (even though most consider it a cheap “exclusive”) I love it. And a translucent glitter mold/fill definitely makes it incredible. I will be trying to get this one.

Gone Batty - Minions Movie; Gone Batty figure

I love the minions pops, but I’m very particular on which ones enter my collection and normally, I probably wouldn’t want this one, but seeing as it’s Kevin, he might find his way onto my shelf. When the minion line was released, everyone was wondering where the ‘Gone Batty’ minion pop was because it was listed on the back, but being found no where. I’m wondering is the pop in particular an exclusive or is there something special about this one i’m missing?

Rapunzel & Pascal - Tangled; Pan in hand and red colored variant

Personally, I’ve never seen Tangled (personal beef reasons) but I do want the pop. First, I adore the Disney Princess line and I love the pops with a second mini one included. I know when the original mold was announced, everyone was saying that a frying pan in her hand would be more appropriate, and here is the pop they were looking for! I think this is great for Tangled fans, but for me I will be getting the original design with the paintbrush (because I’m an illustrator in another life when I’m not blogging) Limited to 1008 pieces

Deadpool - Marvel; X-Force Deadpool

Not a Marvel person and I don’t normally go for the Marvel dorbz, but every once in a while, you find the exception. This dorbz is super super cute and I love the look of this one! The half closed eye, the belt he has that looks like it’s happy. Compared to what looks to be the original Deadpool on the side, this one is my clear favorite, but probably won’t be purchasing it unless opportunity presents itself.

Am I paranoid or have I seen this before? Deja vu? No, this was already announced as an XL Dorbz comic con exclusive. That alone doesn’t make much sense to me, but at the same time, I hope the Dorbz we’ve already seen as XL’s get released as regular sized ones because I love some of the designs of previous ones, but not the size.

I will be fighting for this exclusive for not just me, but for my boyfriend. Day Four: June 15, 2015

Skipper - The Penguins of Madagascar; Cheesy Skipper

Most people who have been watching Funko pops for at least the last few months, have most likely already seen this one. Popcultura leaked this one early and it was our first look at the Summer Comic Con Funko Pop wave. I never was a fan of this from the first day I saw it and nothing has changed.  I have no desire for it, nor any want for any of the penguins. It’s definitely a new idea on their part - not a metallic, glitter, or glow variant like they’re known for it’s something that makes sense for the figure to be and relates to the movie/franchise.

Ant-Man - Ant-man; Black Out Ant - Man

I don’t know a whole lot about the Ant-Man, so I don’t really want this. Actually not “really” just not at all. Funko has already rolled out multiple Ant-Man variants that this really isn’t a surprise to see. Just another variant, this time him in a black suit. Not my cup of tea.

Baymax - Big Hero 6; Unmasked variant

If I had to pick one item out of each reveal to have, this would be my choice, but by no means am I going to pick it up. When I first saw this, my mind kind of paused and then I mentally rolled my eyes. Really, funko? Such a cheap variant. And I’m getting SO SICK of seeing everything being Unmasked! That’s what this year is going to be - the year of ‘the unmasked everything with no creativity!’ Sorry to rant, but it’s driving me nuts. The only thing exclusive about this is the sticker and the box. You could easily buy both versions and swap the heads to make your own. I was honestly surprised with the release of Big Hero 6 that because of how big it was, there weren’t a ton of variants and they were only Baymax. Still on it, I see.

I’m going to go ahead and say it: this is the Huckleberry Hound of the 2015 Comic Con. I’m not going to be surprised if we have at least two more of these being announced and having something to do at Fundays.

Fans of the movie will be thrilled with this variant as it is a very famous scene from the movie. Personally the detail they have done on his uniform is such a look at how far Funko has come comparing to the first ReAction figure lines.

Not a fan of it, but I have to say the colours and detail are incredible. They really nailed figuring an incredible way to do the paint the way they did with a kind of blue rusted out look. Limited to 500 pieces

Day Five: June 17, 2015

C-3PO - Star Wars; Chrome Variant

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Star Wars fan, but not a big enough fan to get ALL the pops and variants (I mean, that’s a hefty collection to complete) especially when it’s just a simple paint change. I will admit that I like this version better than the original - I think it’s sleeker, cleaner, and just looks more badass. I really think Funko could do a few more pieces in chrome variants and it would be appropriate, and this really shows what a nice crisp effect it has. I’m also pretty sure I had already seen this one as a leak, I think from PC, but they have so many different R2, and C3PO variants/different “models” that it’s hard to keep them all straight

Twisty - American Horror Story: Freak Show; Unmasked Variant

I was over the moon to find out they had planned American Horror Story: Freak Show pops! and it’s no surprise they made Twisty. The main villain/monster that causes all the hell and pain in the show, this is an unmasked variant of his terrifying masked face. As much of a fan I am of the show and pops, I will not be picking this one up. Scares me too much.

Helena - Orphan Black; Parka variant I’ve considered watching Orphan Black for some time, but could never really get into it, so I don’t really understand this variant. I’m assuming it’s just an outfit variant considering it’s title for an exclusive is “Parka Helena’ She does have a knife sticking out of her belly with blood around it with another knife in her hand. Just like I said earlier, Funko has come a long way with their ReAction figures and this is just an incredible example. They have never done a version or even come close to a ReAction figure that is extraordinarily detailed as this one in both packaging and character form.

501st Clone Trooper - Star Wars; Hikari 

Definitely a must have for Star Wars fans, this Hikari is super super detailed and the paint job is so so pretty. The arms appear to also be multi jointed (like there’s a ball joint in there) but it could just be the look of the suit.

Day Six: June 19, 2015

a.k.a - best reveal yet

Joy - Inside Out; Sparkle Hair Variant

So excited for this one! I already have the entire set of Inside Out pops! on my wishlist and I haven’t picked up Joy yet! If I can get a hold of this one, this is the Joy I would want for my collection! I really love glitter pops! even though they are just a super easy/super cheap variant, but this just like Sadness is a must have for me.

First off, when I found out they were making Sesame Street pops!, I was almost sure of the face that there wasn’t going to be a Mr. Snuffleupagus pop!, but low and behold the beauty that is this creature!

I LIVED off Sesame Street when I was a kid and Big Bird and Snuffle were always my favorite characters, so the idea of there being fuzzy adaptation of my childhood love makes me want to run and hunt for him hardcore (word is, he’ll be at Barnes and Noble this year!)

Regina - Once Upon A Time; Comic Con variant?

Not so sure what’s different about this besides the dress being a different variant then the one announced in the Toy Fair catalog, but this pop! has no title defining it’s variant.

However….. WANT… NEED…. MUST HAVE! This pop! shot up and became the number 1 must have for a pop from Comic Con this year and I will get it. I will find a way. I’ll even pay flippers. I NEED IT.

Arrow - Arrow; Unmasked Variant

I actually started having Deja vu while typing this because it seemed so familiar. Then, I remembered in my last post we had another ReAction figure variant being unmasked with the Tv Show title being the same as the character. Originality much? However, I know a couple collectors and hard core fans of Arrow, so this is a treat for them and a must have.

Batman - Batman; 1950′s XL variant

Now, I do love the dorbz and collecting them and I do think the DC Line they have is genius, but I can see this being one I can live without. Especially when they already announced a Comic Con Batman tv series XL Batman dorbz and that might as well just be called “1960′s Batman.” I think this is definitely a must have for Batman lovers and I love the line design on his cowl, but other than that, I won’t be purchasing this one.

Groot - Guardians of the Galaxy; Mossy XL variant

Personally, I’m tired of hearing and seeing all of the different groot variants, I think Funko needs to calm down a minute, but since they sell, I honestly don’t see that happening any time soon. Not going to be picking it up, but it’s a nice piece for Guardians of the Galaxy and Groot fans. And he is covered in moss, so he’s different then the regular sized - already released dorbz

* I also tried my damnedest to enhance the pictures the best of my abilities to try and see if they are a certain number limit to just being limited edition.

By each figure, i’ll have the “rarity” from what I've been able to see. If it’s italicized, it’s not confirmed or guaranteed, If it’s bold, it’s for sure. I’m trying my absolute best with these to be certain. 

Day One: June 8, 2015

Bender - Futurama; Golden variant This one is definitely on my ‘want’ list. I do have regular Bender and anytime I have a pop! that comes out with a variant, I almost feel obligated to buy the variant and this one is no exception. However, I don’t EVER remember Bender being gold for any reason, so I don’t 100% understand the variant, but that doesn't keep me from wanting it.

Sadness - Inside Out; Sparkle/Glitter variant

Hands down on the highest part of my Comic Con wishlist this year is the Sadness pop! Sadness is hands down already my favorite character from the upcoming new movie and I already have picked up the normal variant.  Watching the trailer and clips again, Sadness does seem to have a sheen/glitter effect to her hair and that would make sense for this to be a variant, however without anyone seeing the movie, she could have glitter in her hair when she gets upset, or this effect could have something to do with the emotion she channels.  Hands down for me, a MUST have!

Twelfth Doctor - Doctor Who; Space Suit variant

Not one i’m going to be reaching for or either for my sister. I’m getting all of the information on this pop based solely on my sister’s love and knowledge of the show. I’m not a Doctor Who fan and my sister doesn't care for the twelfth doctor as much as others’, so she won’t be picking up this variant for her collection either. This variant is just a different outfit (his space suit) then the already released twelfth doctor is wearing.

Deadpool - Marvel; X-Force variant

Much like the already released pop! rides, this is just a simple repaint like so many of the already released Deadpool’s we have are. The grey paint is to give the variant of the X-Force line. Not one i’m interested in, for i’m not a fan or Deadpool or a Marvel person

Dr. Peter Venkman - Ghostbusters; slimed variant

Not going to be collecting Vinyl Idolz as a part of my collection, but I am a huge fan of ghostbusters, so this is a rather quirky piece to me. I’m hoping to see an Egon variant, because he is my favorite ghostbuster.

Batman - Batman 66′s series; 66′s series XL variant

Huge, HUGE fan of Funko’s dorbz line, especially the Batman set, so this just really really has a strong place in my heart. I’m already a huge fan of the 66′s Batman and the fact that this is going to be a 6 incher, does it for me.  A definite want for me.

Captain America - The Avengers: Age of Ultron; Unmasked variant

Plain and simple - an unmasked variant of the already released Captain America funko pop from the new Avengers line. I already have the Comikaze Unmasked Captain America, but I do think the sculpt and design of this one is better, however this is not a want to need to my one piece Avengers set! LIMITED EDITION

Frieza - Dragonball Z; Golden Metallic variant

I’m not a fan of Dragonball Z - never was, never probably will be, but this is a beautiful variant/paint job. The variant part of this is just a golden paint job where it once was white with a metallic finish. I’m sure it also has to do with something on the show, but like I said, I've never personally seen it.

Castiel - Supernatural; French Mistake variant

I’ve never once seen an episode of Supernatural all the way through, but i’ve bought almost every op/variant from this line as gifts for my sister in her collection.  The Supernatural line is her absolute favorite which means we will both be trying to get this pop! The variant is simply Castiel from the episode ‘The French Mistake’ in his ugly Christmas sweater (I know what happens in this episode, but no spoilers for those who don’t know!) :) LIMITED EDITION 

Lightning McQueen - Cars; Dinoco variant

Now, I've never personally seen the Cars pops in person, but it’s definitely a new concept. A vehicle that isn't a pop! ride, but not really a pop! either. Kind of a happy medium they've found. This is just simply a variant of Lightning McQueen with his car (himself) being sponsored by Dinoco in the movie. Personally, Cars isn't a movie I liked enough to pick up the pops! and have them a part of my collection

I’ve never been a fan of any of the ReAction figures, but I do know a few people who collect them so, this one is a must have for many fans!

Like I said before, i’m not a strong collector of Marvel, but I’ve already considered buying the Rocket dorbz (regular sized), but passed.  This is the 6 inch version of the already released Hot Topic Exclusive blue suit variant dorbz.

Ted - Ted2; Flocked variant

SO. MUCH. WANT. This is by far the pop announced so far that I want the most! I already knew I was going to get the new Ted pop when it came out and I already decided I wanted the remote variant, but a FLOCKED remote variant? Hands down, so far this is the pop! I will fight for!

Anger - Inside Out; Flamehead variant

Just like Sadness, I want this one too. I have yet to pick up the regular Anger pop, but he is already proving to be a favorite from what i’ve seen and if I get the regular variant, I have to get this one too. When Anger gets super angry/steamed, his entire head bursts into flames and gets full on mad. Fully awesome.

Lil’ Gruesome - Wacky Races - Orange variant

Never EVER seen this show, but every year, Comic Con has to have a Hanna Barbara show variant and this year it happens to be this guy. Cute, but not exactly one i’m going to be reaching for, for my collection. The variant is simple a repaint color change, probably something to do with the show (sorry! haven’t seen it!)

Jason Voorhees - Friday the 13th; Unmasked variant

I HATE horror movies and only have one horror pop in my collection and that is ONLY because it’s a chase, so I won’t be purchasing this one. My dad however, might. He’s a big fan of the horror pop line and is already looking forward to a few this year. This is simply Jason without his hockey mask, a must have for a horror lovers/Friday the 13th collection!

Deadpool - Marvel; Cosmic Powers variant

Like I’ve said, not a Deadpool fan, not a hikari collector, but all are welcome on my blog. Repaint of the ‘Cosmic Powers Deadpool’. Next to Batman, I swear this guy has more variants than anyone.

Gus Fring - Breaking Bad; Dead variant

Hard to avoid the spoilers here, but this is one of the most manufactured variant of a character. Gus Fring from Breaking Bad (obviously dead) variant of the already released alive character version. I think the reason this variant is done in so many forms is because it is such an interesting and different death and yes, I will be doing a review of the pop soon ;)
