The relationship between Charlie and Alastor in future seasons.

Erika Hennessen said in an interview that there is a strange but strong relationship of trust between Charlie and Alastor.

Even though Charlie doesn't always understand his motives and actions, she still feels she can trust him because he has always been there when needed.

According to Erika, there is something like "paternal protection" in their dynamic. Charlie seems to think, "I don't understand you... but you probably have your reasons for acting this way."

Now, getting personal. Charlastor will always be my favorite non-canon ship, but I'm happy as long as Charlie and Alastor are friends in the show. I'm not asking for the impossible from Medrano, nor do I expect him to make them a couple. I already love their dynamic just the way it is.

(This is true Alastor. He is a contradiction that while he has shown to be possessive of Charlie and protective...He does gain enjoyment in seeing others struggle. Think he will push Charlie. Putting her in situations that may break a normal person. Perhaps by going after her parents or other plans to reach a higher station and power. Perhaps a game in some ways to see how Charlie will rise to the occasion because I think he hopes she can be his equal with his guidance. Both as an asset and a foil to him. Wanting it yet knowing it would not be beneficial to his endgame. (Perhaps Alastor's well kept secret that he is masochistic. Feeling like he deserves everything that has been done. Not sure if the lengthy backstory from the pilot's voice actor music videos are all canon but if he was abused by his father like those videos showed then that's also an effect of abuse victims to feel they had it coming. In the Pilot he said sinners essentially blew their one chance and that they deserve to be down in hell. "Their is no undoing what has been done." While he wants to guide her for his own reasons or pushed by others for their aims regarding Charlie, part of him may realize if their was a shred of him that could be salvaged then she would be capable of it. Making a play of course is a step in a plan to have his lover return or stay with him. Since Viv is full Chaggie support...think this is more Alastor not wanting to be hated by her. How the song ends so essentially Alastor is in the dog house for something and trying to get his beloved back or to stay. This song is quite shippy. Not sure if a new character will be introduced but seems like this would be directed at Charlie more than anyone else. Especially with recent developments. Him forcing her to say the words needed to break his deals even though she didn't want to in that moment. Him being more focused on his goal for power and villain or semi villain arc.
