To follow up on the snow story, when we finally got my daughter to walk in the snow she was noticing the dogs pawprints and pointed and said, "Look mommy, stickers!"

So anyway footprints will forever be known as stickers in my house.

I tried to prepare my daughter for her first snow that she would remember (she's not quite two) and so in my brilliance I thought showing her Frozen would be a great choice because she's really into princesses and musicals.

First snow came this week, I took her outside to see it and she stared and stared and then started to sob and scream. I asked why and she cried, "Snow, oh no snow! Oh no Elsa!!"

It was then that we realized she thinks snow is the sign that Elsa is having a mental breakdown and Elsa came to freeze us all.

So anyway Frozen is now banned in our house until we have a proper relationship with snow.

Yesterday I was brainstorming headcanons with @marroniere and Rentor came up, which to me is a planet that just SCREAMS space Siberia. Therefore, enjoy a Rentori raindeer, which is more like a cross between an actual reindeer and a cashmere goat. I bet it makes the softest wool ever.

The design of the Rentori woman’s attire is shamelessly borrowed from the traditional clothing of the Khanty people. Those bell-shaped coats and headscarves look just so cozy and adorable.
