Then it's a fun rumor. I would still have a problem with it because someone has still written it badly, it's just being read out to me. I had a huge problem with them bringing up major events and then never mentioning them again because of all the time jumps. Ending a chapter with a literal war breaking out in town, and all the big kids having to take their dragons in to defend it, and then having the next chapter start "It's December now, and nobody really talks about that anymore" is diabolical. I read most of the book. I had maybe three chapters left. I read all the smut. I was bored, the enemies-to-lovers trope was so cringe that I rolled my eyes every time "Xaden's stupid perfect abs" were mentioned. It was my first and last romance-fantasy novel. I was so dumbfounded by the penmanship that I didn't pick up another book for about 4 months. And I love to read. Maybe, as a 50 year old man, I am not the target audience, and that's okay.

That is a spot on theory. I fully believe it, because every trip I deemed as a disaster at the time ended up being the best trip of my life.

That's a yes. I'm in the business man, I know what that means. It means someone has your hands tied and you want to say yes but you can't. I think mostly the writing. The writing ruined the book for me. But that's just me, I DNF'ed it with about 20% left to read.

I like to think it worked, I never felt anything bad or evil that wasn't supposed to be there. I sadly have not seen a ghost, but I think I'd like to see one. Just once, you know? I don't know if I'd be afraid of them, because I've never met one before.

i bet so! i have a lot of places that i have felt like home but i gotta say that if i could travel back to Paris, which i actually do frequently. so frequently in fact that i should get a small place out there. but either way i love it out there and it almost feels like home away from home. i've had a lot of 'homes' over the years. there isn't many places that i haven't traveled but i think i'd like to try my hand at Puerto Rico. i think that might be on the short list of places i haven't had a chance to go to. ooo or maybe Fiji.

I've been to Paris a few times, it's so beautiful and I get why anyone would want to go. Puerto Rico is such a beautiful place, probably one of the best places you can go to if you want to feel like you're welcomed there right as you step off the plane.

Most of mine are cringey enough that we've reached too far beyond laughable at this point, unfortunately. I suppose the one where I was lying about growing up in Florida was a... peculiar one.
