Polite lets out a sound of surprise at the sudden kiss, but he soon relaxes into it, closing his eyes and bringing his arms to wrap around Hunter’s neck, pulling them closer together.

After a minute or so he pulled back from the kiss, his face now a rosey red.

“I…”

He was breathless for a moment.

“I never knew you felt this way about me, Hunter.”

He giggles a bit before he puts his hands on Hunter’s shoulders, stopping him for a moment.

“Hunter! My friend! What has invoked such gestures?”

He face had turned light pink, adorning a silly yet confused smile.

Impolite.

“Hunter…I am not sure what kind of joke this is, but it is not funny.”

His tone turns serious for a moment. Sitting up from the ground and giving Hunter a look.

“…Where have you heard that name from?”

He hadn’t heard that name since…his time with The Doctor.

He didn’t want to remember that.

How could Hunter know about him?

He had gotten rid of him. Hadn’t he? He did. He had to. He remembers it clearly as day.

“Hunter. What do you mean by…’kill Soldier’?!”

“What did I do?! Hunter! Please! What did I do!”

He says, confused

“…Oh. Thank you for that, my friend.”

He gave Hunter a small smile, before leaning forward and giving him a peck on the cheek.

They then pulled some water from the pools and froze it into ice shards, which refracted the light from the fire brightly.

“I don’t think light will be a problem, if you’d be willing to try?”

“Oh my stars, when was the last time you had fresh water???”

They quickly pulled some water out of their orb, froze it into a cup, and filled said cup with more water before handing it to Karl.

“It’s not an issue, I can summon as much as I need.”

They smiled, still a little concerned.

“It’s no problem,”

Their ear flicked, and suddenly…

Goddamit- wait, where's your friend? The one with the metal peg leg?

“…Hunter??”

They called
