Saw somebody do this with MLP. Can’t find the post now, if I could I’d give credit. Anyways…

- The setting is post-apocalyptic. We never find out what happened but it was bad enough that most of humanity is gone and most of the planet is un-inhabitable.

- The main character enlisted and became a military leader at the age of 16. This is implied to be a normal, widely-accepted thing in-universe.

- Three of the five main characters are implied to be orphaned minors and nobody ever talks about it.

- One character ran away from home and joined the anti-government rebellion because his parents didn’t understand his art.

- The same character mentioned above once got so caught up in making art that he didn’t realize there was a whole zombie apocalypse going on outside.

- Three of the main characters spent the better part of one episode tripping on hallucinogenic drugs.

- Another character spent the better part of one episode taking what was basically a performance-enhancing drug. Also, he almost murdered his best friend while under the influence of said drug.

“Dude” but like romantically

“Babe” but like platonically

“Sweetheart” but like rivalry
