choosing to speak up in favor of the cookie dough metaphor. buffy is early 20s and doesn't need to have picked the love of her life yet and this fits perfectly within the conclusion of chosen of buffy getting to live a normal life. the literal only stumbling block is when she stops angel to give the "sometimes i do think that far ahead" but she also qualifies it with "years, if ever," which continues the theme of the conversation.
