“I’m wearing a traditional Lublin costume from Poland. It consists of two types of skirts (one short and one long), red beads which symbolize wealth, a gorsetka or ‘corset’, and a chemise. I wear this costume only for performances because it was made in Lublin and transported here but I would wear it every weekend if I could. These types of costumes were worn for important events, like marriages or harvest festivals.”

Every year I get closer to basically technicolor rockabilly and 80s magazines. Today the goal was Dorothy Dandridge in Carmen Blender with The Femmes in Chole Sherman’s The Renegades photos.”
