She wore them the summer she was pregnant with my sister. They’re one of the first things I stole from her closet. And a Bonnie Cashin Coach bag from Beacon’s Closet. I am inspired by summer! It’s the season for haphazard dressing, throwing on whatever, mixing colors. Wearing underwear as outerwear. Grocery store sunglasses, flip flops, pajama pants, bikini tops. It’s an anything goes time of year and it’s endlessly inspiring.”

For the shoes I’m wearing metal heeled Guidis, and then all my jewelry is thrifted. I take inspiration from punk/Japanese brands—and then try to incorporate them into my personal style. I’ve always been a fan of heavily accessorizing as I feel it’s like character customization and shows off your personalities/interests.”

My style is influenced by a lot of Japanese street styles. For this outfit I wanted it to have a little bit of casual mixed with street styles. Something with color but not too wild keep it simple. Making sure I’m able to move with flexibility.”
