Hereβs a spread I used to keep track of my notes and to help me keep up with my readings. My method of note taking is time consuming but it helps me remember everything Iβve read.Β
O = OUTLINE : First Iβll go through and outline the chapter by typing up all of the headings, subheadings, and key terms.
D = DEFINE : Then I go back and define the key terms.Β
N = NOTES : Finally I go back and read through the chapter, taking notes as I do so.Β
F = FLASHCARDS : Then about a week or so later Iβll go back and make flash cards for the chapter.Β
I can use this as my reading getβs more involved in future semesters.
