There’s something magical about the new year—with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, the dreary weather only makes this heart-shaped holiday beat stronger for those who participate! This mock ad celebrates one of the many shapes love can take with a timeless romantic tradition: sharing a milk shake! No matter how you celebrate, though, one thing’s certain: Ice cream sure sounds good right now, doesn’t it? … Needless to say, working on this college assignment in Spring of 2025 made me very hungry… This poster illustration was made using Baskin-Robbins’ (at the time) current brand guidelines, and was a great experience in seeing how far those guides can be stretched to make something interesting! It actually started much simpler, before my instructor encouraged me to go a little more outside the box!

Whether it’s the pale-powder blue of an Alaskan sky, the envious green permeating Gatsby’s bay mansion, or the blood (literal and metaphoric) that seems to saturate Maycomb’s every corner, each of these books was primed for a striking color association intended to draw a reader’s eye.

This set of three book jackets and their mockups was made with passion for a college assignment! I read all three of these books in high-school and each of them stuck with me and challenged me in a unique way—all of them still have a cherished place on my bookshelf!

Eight of Swords

In my absence while I try and figure out how to record IRL arts-making, I decided to dip my toes into some graphic design exercises!! There are a lot of things I can improve, now that I know what's off about it, but I'm still fairly happy with it since I didn't thumbnail anything out first!!
