As Gacha Guild has ended, the Vampyrate Set has been moved to the mainstore. The GG Hunt gift and the QFC Hunt gifts have been moved to the freebie wall, if you missed out or weren’t able to find them. They will appear on the Marketplace in the coming week.

I’ve decided to retire a big batch of items from Apricot Paws’ early years - basically, everything that only ever fit the Classic SL Body, before mesh bodies became vogue.

These items are all 10L until November 19, upon which they will be permanently removed from sale. If you want them, get them while you can.

Not sure if anyone else has posted since I haven’t been on Tumblr for a while, but I’ve found a recent scammer on the Marketplace. They’re claiming they’re selling furry avs (with stolen CMFB images), but if you look at the contents they’re either full of random shit, dancers or contain the super old freebie avs like aXel and Taylor Made.

After a very long break, we are finally (really this time)…back!

The last year or so we have had many delays due to a few setbacks real life and creatively. But we are finally moving ahead to create avatars!

Due to some technical reasons, and the age of older projects we have previously announced (the macaw and so on.) We regretfully need to shelve the old builds, and plan to start from scratch moving forwards. This means, that while we will not be selling the previously mentioned or shown projects, they will be revisited and updated in time. Some things that will be happening soon:

We have finally updated the look of our in world vendor! Head over to Skittlebeans or any of our vendor locations to see it J Listed below are some things we will be doing in the coming months:

-          All of our older pre-mesh avatars will be moved exclusively to the online marketplace. All new avatars will be placed in the vendors in world AND on the marketplace.

-          Racush is currently looking at our older sculpt avatars that have been having bug issues. If there is a fix that is not too tool extensive, updates will be sent. If not, the avatars will be retired from our vendors (we will update more on this.)

-          We will be creating some new versions of older avatars. These will not be updates, but new full avatars for sale. Some of these will include: Griffin, Wild dog, Dragon, Possat, Birds, Fox ect.

-          We have decided to return to the second life body method for now. These will be reminiscent of our previous avatars, but with attached rigged mesh attachments like legs, heads and so on. We will however be creating some full bodied mesh creatures with clothing created for them as well.

-          Toki will now be sculpting most of the primary avatar parts, so you may see a style change from our previous builds.

So. Those Kaiju avatars are super cute and I couldn’t resist making a goo version of them for Halloween. If you’re not familiar with the avatar, you’ll be able to find them over at the Murder of Ravens machine at the Hallows Gacha Fair, which goes until the end of the month!
