what if she makes up silly little songs as she walks around doing things like she's the main character in a musical and they're not very good and they're not super pretty but she likes them and they bring her joy

what if its a habit from when she'd spend nearly all her time alone and she never let go of it and now its just how she goes about her time when she's by herself, singing a song like she's seven years old and her voice is all chipped around the edges and she's not the perfect musician her parents think she ought to be but no one is listening to her silly little songs and no one is paying attention and then one day she's walking around solreef and like tam and wylie are sitting in the kitchen and they both just smile at each other like that's what linh does when she's happy and she's happy right now

Goncharev is a family name and whoever Goncharov used to be totally went up in being the head of the Family. he doesn't HAVE a personal name to denote who he is outside of his mafia persona.

Yeah Kenric kinda implies in book 1 that it's a universal accent, but then it only gets mentioned in relation to those five. like that's one of their defining traits when they enter a scene Sophie will mention it but it's not even like every family has an accent?? its weird idk

"Yeah we have a universal accent except these five who are from england,"

I like- really want to know if the rest of the elves have accents and what they sound like. But what if like- a whole exilium accent?

Part of this might be smoke inhalation, but a lot of the Neverseen have similar voices, so there might be some accents forming among banished elves and those who interact with them.

Maybe it's because Sophie's a polyglot. She only recognizes accents if it's really pronounced. Maybe the Vackers straight up are speaking Olde English or with a thick Scottish accent and Sophie classifies it as English because her Polyglot talent is doing the rest?
