Introduction to us
This blog is two things. Firstly, talking about:
Ellie, a 10-year-old tortie and white cat adopted in January, 2025, her adventures, how we're bonding, and the work we're doing on her confidence and general anxiety.
But also, we also talk about senior cat care, common issues, and generally how great senior cats are! Senior cats are likely to spend a long time looking for homes, but their personalities are more developed (so you have a better idea what kind of cat you're getting) and they tend to be a bit more sedate, more affectionate, and more of a nap fiend than younger cats. Don't discount them when you go to adopt!
I've only had senior cats myself, Ellie is the youngest cat by far that I've cared for. I already love her so much, and am excited to share our journey together.
