Breathe, live Even if it hurts Sleep, rest I'll keep the demons at bay -e.b.

Can you hate someone For what they have done But still love them for whom they had been? Can you erase his touch Unhear the I love you so much But still live with the ghost in between? -e.b.

The nights are dreadfully lonely With the cold reminding me How painfully easy It is to be free -e.b.

We were waiting for the storm to pass as we sipped coffee in silence. I took the receipt and scribbled a half thought Mismatched lines of poetry to pass the time The storm calmed for a minute and I asked if we could go I took my things and stood up When I looked back, I saw you pocket my scribbles And you said, 'For the rainy days' You took my hand and we went home

Into eternity, we will take flight Like birds not of this earth Out of hatred's reach and sight To a life that gives us worth -e.b.
