Taking place during season 3 of Glee, Love Ain’t is an AU canon divergent story beginning the week of Dave Karofsky’s attempted suicide. Blaine feels pulled to visit him in the hospital. They have a heart-to-heart where Blaine reminds him that he’s not alone and the two begin an unlikely friendship.

With Blaine’s relationship becoming more and more rocky as Kurt moves to New York, he finds comfort in his and Dave’s friendship. Before he knows it they’re inseparable and slip into something a little deeper than a friendship.

Not wanting to lose his best friend, Blaine draws a line in the sand and they both agree to stay on their respective sides. However, fate seems have other plans.
