IT HAD been two days since Caleb and Y/n’s argument. She hadn’t uttered a word to him since, practically running away whenever he was near. He noticed, of course. His heart sinking more each time he saw her.
He tried it with Jaiden but his heart wasn’t in it, all he could think about was that the one person he wanted to talk to didn’t want to talk to him.
He broke it off with her, much to her dismay and started grafting as hard as possible for Y/n.
He brought her breakfast in the morning and he slept outside but she still wasn’t giving him the time of day.
He was determined to get a chat with her today. The moment she walked down the stairs he basically bombarded her, “Can we talk?” he asked sheepishly looking at her intently.
She sighed, tired of ignoring him, “Fine,”
They walked to the fire pit, sitting down far away but also close. He started, “I just want to make my amends with you. Shit went down between me and her, we kissed, cuddled and hugged like all of that happened,”
She couldn’t make eye contact with him as he continued, “Regardless of that situation, it’s dead. This is about you and me,” he sighed, “I’ve been completely transparent with you about what went down there and you made your decision,”
She interrupted, “You made your decision, you recoupled with this girl, Caleb,” her voice broke.
“I’m not trying— shit i’m sorry, the way I was going about it I told her how much I liked you every day and when I recoupled I told her that this doesn’t fully mean recoupled,” Caleb said his hands moving around.
“If you felt like that connection was so strong to where it doesn’t matter about how I would feel, like kissing and saying you feel guilty but leaning in and doing it again. And you coming back with her knowing that I would be single and expecting me to be okay with you getting to know her in-front of me,” she ranted at him.
“It’s not like that—“ he tried.
“You knew how I felt about you, you knew. And I thought you felt that same way,” she sighed.
“I do, I do,” he sighed his face upset as she shook her head, “You don’t though,”
“I know you care, I knew that from the jump and I’ve seen how much you care, and I’ve seen how much i’ve fucked up. But I need you to know that there wasn’t a time where I didn’t think of you,” he confessed. “I’m trying to let you know that I want you,”
Her eyes fell to her lap, her heart racing so fast it felt like it might burst.
“I’ve always wanted you from the moment I walked in, you know that,” he sighed.
“Yeah but how do I know? I wanted you to come in here after Casa and tell me that it was just me that you only wanted me. But you didn’t so how can I believe you?” she asked her eyes watering again.
“I’m not expecting you to welcome me back with open arms, I don’t expect any of that, but I want you to know that I’m willing to fight for you,” he replied staring at her features.
“I just don’t know,” she shook her head. “We’ll see,”
He laughed at her, “Come on, give me a hug,”
“No, no,” she replied putting her hands up.
He put his arm around her, her shying away and offering him a handshake. “Fine girl,” he sighed shaking her hand as they went their separate ways.
Y/n spent the rest of the day thinking about their chat. She felt disrespected as fuck, but she also liked him a lot more than she thought. Even more after that conversation.
“Girls I think I’m fucked,” she sighed as she sat down with Aniya and Kayda on the sofa. “I really want to be back with him,”
The two girls listened intently, “I miss him so much, like just seeing him across the villa and not being able to go near him it’s killing me,”
“I get it girl, but just remember that that man hurt you bad, but just know we support any decision you make,” Kayda said matter of factly.
“Everyone knows how much you like each other, it’s just…. forgive but don’t forget,” Aniya told the girl sternly.
She nodded as her phone buzzed, “I’ve got a text!” she shouted making everyone turn to look at her, “Islanders it’s time to grab your popcorn and get ready for movie night!”
“I’m not ready for this shit,” Y/n shook her head.
The girls all gathered in the dressing room, “I apologise in advance if I’ve said anything horrible,” Melanie announced to the group.
Y/n pulled on her outfit as she talked to Trinity, “I’m just scared because I think me and Caleb are trying to move forward and if I see shit tonight it might just fuck all that up,” she sighed.
“Don’t worry girl, I think you just got to trust him,” Trinity reassured, “Just hope he was fully transparent,”
She nodded, her nervous demeanour obvious, “Come on baby, we got this,” Trinity said grabbing her hand as they walked downstairs.
There was a big screen set up in the garden, two couches facing it. The girls all sat down, Y/n squeezed between Melanie and Kayda,
“Let the truths be told,” Corbin announced to the group making the girls roll their eyes.
“Can the movie start? I’m sick of the trailers,” Melanie sighed grabbing Y/n’s hand.
Jen stood up grabbing the coin to see who gets to pick the movie. She flipped it, landing on the boys. “Let’s go,” they all cheered.
“Let’s open door 6,” Corbin announced.
The screen flashed up with Zach talking to a girl in an angel costume. Clips of them kissing and talking about their connection.
Y/n turned to Kayda grabbing her hand as Kayda whispered, “I’m not going to cry,”
“It’s okay baby,” Y/n sighed kissing her hand.
When the movie finished, the silence was loud. No one spoke for a while before Zach broke the silence, “I apologise… uhm I don’t really know what to say,”
“That just sucked to see,” Kayda sighed dabbing at her eyes.
“I wish I could take it back, like seeing you cry like that it wasn’t worth it,” Zach confessed.
“I have nothing to say,” she shrugged her shoulders.
Carl stood up next flipping the coin, it landing on boys again. “We’re going to pick door 8,” he announced as he sat down.
It was KC, he was talking about how Aniya and him hadn’t done anything and him calling her a grandma.
Y/n shook her head, anger simmering in her veins at the disrespect for her friend.
More clips of him saying horrible things about Aniya flashed up.
When a clip of the recoupling came up, “Where’s the angel girl?” Kayda asked.
“She left after day two,” one of the casa girls said.
“What the fuck,” Kayda said her eyes wide as she looked at Y/n.
The movie finished, KC speaking up, “There isn’t really much to say, but what I will say is that I’m sorry again,”
“I don’t wanna hear it,” Aniya dismissed him.
He kept trying to justify his actions, but Y/n interrupted him, “So everything you were saying was because you felt unwanted right?” she paused waiting for him to agree, “But everything you said in that was about lust nothing to do with your connection with Aniya,”
“That’s fair,” he shrugged “But I don’t believe that Aniya was fully in the connection,”
Y/n shook her head, rolling her eyes about to clap back but Melanie grabbed her hand whispering “Not worth it,”
“Well I just found out information, Alannah fucking left. So if she didn’t leave would you have picked her?” Kayda asked as the argument settled down.
“No, I swear, obviously I wasn’t. I picked you,” Zach defended himself.
“Because you had no other connection,” Kayda argued.
“I made my decision before that,” Zach told her.
“Bullshit,” Kayda sighed sitting back against the couch.
“It’s weird to leave it out,” Y/n said as Kayda agreed nodding.
“I was going to pick you anyway, I made my decision way before she left,” Zach continued.
“Okay moving on, next movie please,” Kayda said trying to move past the situation.
She picked up the coin flipping it, landing on girls, “Let’s go ladies,” she giggled as she sat down.
“We pick 10,” Aniya called out.
The screen flashed up counting down 3, 2, 1…
The movie started, Y/n on the screen doing her makeup as Trinity asked her, “How are you feeling, Y/n?”
On the screen she groaned, “I just feel like I just want Caleb,”
Trinity said “Girl don’t stress, think he’s had a chance to explore other people and he hasn’t…”
“I know I’m just gonna look so stupid,” her voice breaking.
“No you’re not baby, you’re not,” Trinity reassured hugging the girl tightly. “You’re not going to look stupid,”
Her eyes started to water as she watched herself, the two girls next to her trying to comfort her.
The screen cut to when the girls received the post card, “That’s Caleb, no fuck off, no,” Kenzie sighed on the video.
“What the fuck? Has he lost his head?” Y/n groaned her face disgusted. “This is exactly why I move the way I move because of disrespectful people like him,”
“He’s telling me everything I want to hear, but the moment he’s out of my sight he’s practically on top of other girls,” she rolled her eyes storming off upstairs.
She was now in the dressing room sitting on the floor, her eyes watering, “I can’t believe I was crying over this man earlier, I will not be giving him the satisfaction of my tears,” she said trying not to cry. “But why does this keep happening to me?”
The movie finished after that clip as Y/n tried to lighten the mood, “Ooo that one was rough,”
“You stood so strong baby,” Kayda hugged the girl kissing her cheek. “You have so much strength beautiful,”
Caleb sat there, his eyes filled with regret, he whispered to Sincere, “Seeing that shit hurt me a little bit, and I ain’t got no place to be hurt but gosh,”
“Fuck I look so dumb,” Y/n shook her head as the girls reassured her, “The only one who looks dumb is him,”
“Look I just want to say again I’m sorry for my actions, seeing you upset it hurt and it wasn’t worth it seeing you like that,” he apologised sincerely.
Y/n sighed but nodded at his comment, her expression unreadable.
A few more movies played, before Y/n stood up flipping the coin it landing on the girls, “We pick door 2,”
The countdown commenced again and the screen flashed of Caleb and Y/n talking before Casa Amor.
“Oh here we go,” Y/n sighed.
“You’re like the only girl I want in here,” Caleb smiled pulling her hair behind her ear. “You’re so beautiful,”
“I only want you too,” Y/n smiled brightly back at him leaning in to peck his lips.
The screen then cut to the Sweet as Pie challenge, the boys choosing Y/n as wifey material and Caleb picking her up and kissing her.
Y/n smiled at the memory, remembering how kissing him had felt.
The clip cut to Caleb in the confession room, “I mean I’m going to marry that girl,” he winked at the camera.
Y/n felt her eyes water as she watched him say that, the girls turning to her with wide eyes. She heard Caleb sigh regretfully, “Fuck,”
But the clip wasn’t done, cutting to Caleb kissing all the girls in the heart rate challenge.
“Look I’m open at the end of the day,” he sighed in the confessional. “Y/n who?” he joked.
“Now how is that the same guy?” Kayda asked rhetorically shaking her head at Caleb.
The clip finished after that, Y/n swallowing before asking him, “So which one is real? Because that’s not the same person so which one is really you then?”
“I know it looks really bad, but I promise the one in Casa was a joke I promise girl, I didn’t mean it,” Caleb replied his expression genuine.
“But I don’t get how you expect me to trust you when the moment you get away from me you start acting like that,” she sighed leaning back against the couch.
“Girl all I’m saying is that the first chat I had with him, he mentioned you like 5 times, so the who comment was just a joke,” Jaiden clarified.
Y/n nodded, closing her eyes and composing herself after that clip. Seeing him say that he would marry her hit more than she would like to admit, her anger that he ruined it creeping back in.
The girls and boys split off after movie night was over. But Caleb didn’t want to waste any time. He approached the group, “Can I steal Y/n for a chat?”
The girls nodded as Y/n got up following the boy to the balcony. They sat down opposite each other, Caleb looking at her intensely. “I just want to apologise for putting you through that again, I know that I can apologise as many times but I think me admitting where I was wrong and where I fucked up means more,”
“I don’t want to knock you for exploring or having your connection, I definitely do think that I could’ve have done a better job at like navigating the situation than just screaming at you,” Y/n replied.
“No, I like it,” he smirked at her. “Jokes aside, I really do wanna continue things with the two of us but obviously that’s not in my jurisdiction right now,”
“I do wanna continue things,” she smiled at him.
“So let’s make it work then,” he winked at her shuffling closer.
“I want us to work on this together and then close it off because I don’t want anyone else,” he added.
“I’m good with that,” she said her smile wide. “I want nothing but you,”
“Come here then beautiful,” he smiled wrapping his arms around her lying down with her on top.
“I missed you,” she whispered.
“I missed you so bad girl you don’t understand,” he sighed kissing the side of her face.
