I apologise for my absence. And for the reply that was half finished, I um went into labour. I'm currently recovering from the, admittedly, extremely painful and tiresome task of giving birth to my beautiful twins. The twins are perfectly healthy (and have one hell of a set of lungs each, our poor ears) we have a boy, Joran, and a girl, Alari. Miraak is already attached to Alari, I don't blame him but I hope he treats both of them fairly, without favouritism.
They're currently sleeping after having been cleaned and fed, I had a bit of an unexpected arrival when my oldest and closest friend Lleralyn showed up not long after I went into labour, I must have accidentally given them a message through our telepathy bond. I'm not upset by any means, I'm eternally grateful that they are here to help us. Their skills in restoration helped me a lot when it came to ensuring the babies are healthy and making sure there were no complications for me. They will likely be staying with us for, at the very least, a year to confirm for certain that I am still complication free. As eager as I am to show them the new areas of the manor and the new homes we've been building it'll have to wait until I can walk because at the moment I'm unable to stand up for long periods of time.
Overall, myself and the babies are healthy and happy, if a bit tired. My blog will likely go on a break as I continue to recover, thank you for your patience.

Oh! Hello Haarfindelwe, I'm doing just fine. I'm less bored because Miraak is finally letting me leave the house, we went to solitude to visit my friends at the Dragonborn museum and then he took me to the throat of the world on Odahviing to visit Paarthurnax and catch up with him. I've had a pretty good week overall.

I'm doing well, aside from being sore and tired due to being in the late stages of my pregnancy. I'm due soon, my husband is being overprotective and for once I agree with his reasoning.
Take care. Is there a spell or potion you can take to make it painless? The healers in Camlorn put me to sleep when they took my leg off, which- ah, I really wish we had knowledge of that spell in Cyrodiil. It made my second surgery bearable.

There are many things, but I'll name the main ones for simplicity.
There's more room for mistakes. I've mentioned before that I've made mistakes, I don't mean simple ones either like: losing my favourite dagger or cutting my hand while making something. I mean big mistakes, ones that cost innocent people their lives (and souls as the case may be). I'm not elaborating further as its extremely personal.
I've outlived so many of the friends I made throughout my long lifetime, unfortunately I'll likely outlive most, if not all, of the friends I have now as well.
I practically saw Nirn be created. I'll likely see it end too, that makes me sad whenever I think about it because Nirn is an immensely beautiful place if you know where to look.
It's very easy to put things off for potentially decades without realising it and then remember to do them when it's already too late. When you're immortal it's easy to lose years if you have nothing to do. This can be anything from simple tasks like: going to your favourite tavern to see the innkeeper for your favourite drink and arriving only to find out they died three decades ago. Or important tasks that once had meaning.
Despite all this, I do not fear losing my husband or children to old age. My husband has daedric corruption as deep as his soul and already survived thousands of years inside of apocrypha. I realise that this doesn't make him permanently immortal, but I hold onto the belief that he will stay that way.
While yes, time does flow differently within daedric realms if the prince chooses, Hermaeus chose for Miraak to be aware of the years he was there.
As for my babies, they are not yet born and while I do worry about the future, they are quarter daedric prince and, Akatosh willing, Dragonborn like my husband and I.
I thought it would be good to live a long time, like the elves or Daedra…

While I'm not active on this blog as much as I'd like to be, Elise's pregnancy doesn't stop when I'm gone. So technically speaking she should be due within the next month (between late may to early June), I will try to update this blog more throughout the month, but my life is about to get busy again so I might miss her actual due date (between May 20th and June 4th)
Did Miraak ever know about the Nedes to the south of Skyrim and their Ayleid enslavers?
Two things for this one.
1. My friend Lleralyn is half ayleid and proof that not all of them are the exact same way (I know you never said that but I wanted to be clear that I'm fully aware there were ayleids with a different mindset) . Their father broke off from the rest of his people and took those that followed to the land of the Direnni, Bjoulsae, where he met the future Queen Nefrenya. A woman of striking beauty and grace (I met her personally, she became family to me after some time. She was a wonderfully kind woman and devoted to her kingdom and those she considered family.)
2. To actually answer your question, I believe he might have known about them but I doubt he paid much attention as he would have been occupied with situations within the dragon cult.

I do in fact know how to use restoration quite well, though I'm not nearly as good as my friend, Lleralyn, they're an extremely talented healer and can spot when people have illnesses before the person actually knows about it.
As for your spelling, don't worry about it at all. It's legible (understandable) enough for me to get what you say. I don't mind it at all to be honest.

This is the dragon in question. He was, and still remains, a dear friend to this day and I hope that, wherever he is after being resurrected by Alduin he is well. I miss him greatly.
Oh, this one forgot she asked about him! What did he do, again? How did you meet him?
I was in elsweyr at the same time as the Abnur of my universe and ended up helping him and Queen Khamira with the rage of dragons. This lead to me helping Sai Sahan and his (eventually our) dragonguard with Kaalgrontiid, I met Nahfahlaar when we went to investigate tideholm for the dragon that was roosting there, which was Nahfahlaar, the people of the city were worried he was going to attack them so they sent us.
Nahfahlaar, being who he is, ended up helping us a great deal with the dragon crisis, he became a valued ally. As did his priest, Viidost. Though she was initially quite reluctant to help us as we had threatened her Thuri.
Are you the champion of Alkosh of your universe then? Kha’trina has heard of such a one in records from the Second Era. She wonders who it could have been in her world.
This one is glad Nahfahlaar helped you. She will try calling him now. If he is alive, perhaps he can help her defeat Kronhahkriid.
Who is Viidost?
I am not. That honour belongs to a friend who also assisted us in the fights with Kaalgrontiid.
As for Viidost, she was Nahfahlaar's dragon priest and one of the only living dwemer left on tamriel. She was also, what I called, his bondmate. I'm not sure if you know how the silvenar and the green lady work but they sustain each other and if one dies the other won't be far behind. They literally can't live without each other, Nahfah and Viidost's bond was the same way. The two of them loved each other, as much as a dragon and dwemer could.
When Nahfahlaar was slain in the year 864 of the second era he and Viidost had been assisting Tiber Septim as mercenaries when Cyrus the restless slew Nahfahlaar. From what I saw Viidost only just made it back to their lair before she also died.
Now, Viidost goes by Azure. She was reincarnated in the body of a 33 year old Dunmeris woman who belongs to house Telvanni as one of its best translators and history experts. She and I travelled together for a while when she and another member of house Telvanni, Xelzaz, were in skyrim (coincidentally at the same time).

Do you think the shout Slen Tiid Vo could turn back time to before he began to serve them?
I've tried, for me it doesn't seem to work. I tried for months to find out how I could free him but nothing has worked yet.
Also, I'm aware that Slen Tiid Vo undoes damage to the flesh, but I'm uncertain of the potential effects on his mind. The last thing I want to do is damage him in any way that can't also can't be undone either.
