No. I donât think Iâm applying to college.Â
Sometimes taking a gap year is good for you. At least thatâs what Google tells me. Yâknow you can intern at the label if you want instead.

LOVE ON TOUR | Chicago Night 3- 10/10
ajspinelliâ:
Two shots, please.Â
Iâve been living the dream. Playing small shows. Opening for different people. Doing a podcast circuit. Falling in and out and in and out of love. Getting tattoos. Mostly been in Vegas though.
-
Hey! Falling in and out and in and out of love is my thing, bro.Â
Aha, I always feel hungover for months after I leave Vegas. Thereâs good people out there though, great food, great women. What brought you home?
concarringtonâ:
I mean, I donât think so but I kinda thought it went without saying. Iâm a firefighter, of course I got a few pyro tendencies in me.Â
I grew up on a wildlife rescue and conservation zoo. I was all fourwheelers and motor bikes and hiking and camping and football. If you ever wanna tap out, let me know. I thrive on that kinda stuff.Â
-
Yeah? Well next time our bonfire gets a âlil out of hand, I know who Iâm blaming.Â
Thatâs interesting, man. Were your parents zookeepers then? And yeah, Iâll honestly keep you in mind. I wanted him or his sister to be into music so bad - I begged âem to pick up instruments their entire childhoods. Sailor sings for fun, but Lilyâs not into any of it.Â

Tell that to the empty journals sitting around my room.Â
Iâm lovesick, Eli.Â
-
I know, your eyes give it away. Still hung up on that guy you ran away with?
maisiearnoldâ:
Oh my god, Elijah James. Donât say that to her. Sheâs gonna go to school and say that to her teacher, now.Â
While weâre popping bubbles, câmere and kiss me. I missed you and your mouth.Â
-
Mm, thatâs funny âcause I missed you and yours.
Why donât you come to dinner later? I told Ma Iâd make spaghetti and meatballs. Then we can mess around in the laundry room for old times sake.Â
colbiedicardiusâ:
Sheâs a hot mess, but in like⌠the good Gemma way to be a hot mess. Sheâs really doing pretty great, but⌠I mean, you know Gemma.Â
-
Yeah, I donât think about her often anymore but when I do I just really wonder, yâknow. She was always fun to have around back in the day.Â
kinbuchsâ:
Not famous-famous yet, no. But some freshman girls were excited to meet me last week at our recital rehearsal. And my preschool ballerinas like me a whole lot.Â
Are you engaged to Maisie yet?
-
Hey, thatâs cool. A win is a win.Â
And, no. Shush. Weâre just enjoying each others company and what not.Â

camp walden | the little girls
Mom and Cal and Eli and Nora all took us to the parking lot at the very front of the camp, but only Lily and Rebel and I got on the school bus to go back to the camp. As we approached, we saw the âCamp Waldenâ sign and everyone started screaming. This was a boy-girl camp. That meant we had activities for just boys, activities for just girls, and activities for all of us. Lily and Rebel sat next to each other on the seat behind me, and I sat with all of our bags. I was on my knees, turned around talking to them the entire time and all of us couldnât stop laughing. They really liked their headbands and we were all wearing them. We were also all in the same cabin. I was so excited - and I thought they were too.Â
We got off the bus with our things and some older girls and boys waved at us as we did. We were supposed to find our camp counselor. Ours was named Magnolia, but that wasnât her real name. That was a camp name. All of the counselors picked out names that werenât real that we could call them. There was Magnolia, Lollipop, Cheeto (he was really cute), Trailmix, Peanut, and a couple others that I hadnât learned yet. Magnolia lead us to our cabin, and it was already all decorated. We got to pick our beds, but we also had name signs to hang on them so no one got confused. I picked a bottom bunk and started unpacking.Â
Magnolia gave us a few minutes to get comfortable in the cabin, but she said that we were going to go to the mess hall for a snack and to be ready to go, outside in fifteen minutes. I sat down on my bed and smiled at some of the other girls in our group. âI hope these girls are nice to us,â I said. There, no one knew that we were weird sorta-foster kids living in a giant house. Unless they watched the TLC show, but no one had looked at us weird yet. âDid you see on the schedule that we get to pick one of our own activities to do each day? I think we should all plan to do the same one. I was thinking we could do art tomorrow.â
âYeah, I vote art for sure, but one day hasss to be the ropes courses too! I heard Cheeto say he takes his boy campers there a lot,â I smirked, thinking of the older, floppy-haired, tanned counselor weâd met when we first got off the bus. I was so excited to finally be settled into my top bunk at Camp Walden and away from the house for a little while. As much as I loved Eli and thought he was a great father figure and all, he was also kinda a big, fat liar. Earlier, weâd packed Grandmaâs car full to the prim with my bags, Rebelâs bags and Minaâs too and as soon as Cal walked out of the house and took the shotgun seat, practically shooting bullet with his eyes at Eli, Eli backed out.Â
âHey Lil... forgot I wanted to take my car,â He said just to me, trying to not make anything uncomfortable or obvious, âI heard a noise in it and wanted to drive it again to see if I have to take it to get fixed or not.â
Disappointed, I mumbled something under my breath about the car being unsafe, but then hopped into his backseat, watching Mina, Rebel, Colbie, Cal and Grandma all drive away. Though Eli let me have the aux cord, it didnât make up for it. It bugged me that he thought we didnât know what was going on. We did. We ALL did. And while he was a chill ass dad to Sailor and I, and one who always told us to trust him no matter what, it was kinda hard to trust or even believe Eli when he was lying to us. I tried to shake the thought of it, but I couldnât. Thankfully, Magnolia bust through the doors with a smile that I couldnât really quite read as genuine or not, and gathered us all to go to the mess hall.Â
I jumped down from my top bunk, bumping Rebel playfully with my shoulder. I had on jean shorts, a baggy blue t-shirt Iâd stolen from the house Lost & Found pile, white sneakers, and of course the blue headband Mina had gifted me earlier in the day. I was lucky to grow up in a hectic house that gave me more siblings. Iâd always wanted a sister and now I had like a hundred. I intertwined my left arm with one of Rebelâs and my right arm with one of Minaâs so we were all joined together, and we walked out into the warm, summer air. Luckily, it wasnât too hot or rainy or anything yet, and it just felt perfect. I was almost so happy I could cry, but I didnât. Instead, someone instantly caught my eyes and I yipped to the girls, âThere he is! There he is!â He walked past us in aviators with a trail of boys behind him, âCheeeeeto.âÂ

Itâs all goo--heyyy! There she is! Whatâs up, my Issy Girl?Â
momnoraâ:
You just look like the little boy who came to live with me. I could eat you up, I love you so.Â
-
Alright, so I look thirteen, Ma? Iâll never shave again. Aha...mm, but speaking of that little boy. Can he ask you a question real quick?
maisiearnoldâ:
Frankie, remember, sweet girl. We have personal bubbles. I think you popped Eliâs bubble. Give him some space.Â
-
Yeah, only Maimy can pop my bubble, Frank.Â

Seriously, whatâve you been up to? Are ya famous yet?

Sorry babe. Gemma told me I needed to pinch your cheeks.Â

Mm, well, Gem is always an exception. How is she?
