So! What is "Of Souls and Cycles", you may ask?
OSAC is a planned In Stars and Time fangame that takes place after the events of the original game. Including themes of war, loss, getting stuck in destructive patterns, and rebuilding anew despite hardships. Here, we follow the journey of a new party that joins together through unexpected circumstances to take down a rising foe that had once been thought defeated:
Anatole Ruben (she/her). A near-blind Tavernkeeper from Vaugarde who fled before her country was frozen in time. She helps whenever and wherever she can for the community, and is always acting to Change herself for the better by helping others do the same.
Melnes the Lawyer (he/him). Cursed with infinite fatigue and searching for a cure, he suffers from the latent effects of his homeland's civil war, alongside his family's broken state. His drive for justice keeps him going.
Veela (she/her). A bright and bubbly traveling Bard who is definitely too young to be adventuring on her own. She has trouble remembering her past beyond the struggle to survive, but once she trusts someone, she refuses to let them leave her behind.
An Act 7 Epilogue Mod takes place after the events of OSAC, when the trio return to Anatole’s hometown and settle in just in time for the ISAT gang to pay a visit to her tavern in their travels.
Basically, it’s a test demo I made to try figuring out the RPGMaker MV system before we start production on the actual fangame itself!

Okay listen, if you saw this post before but completely desorganized and wrong. No you didn't. That post does not exist. Only this one does. And yes I am uploading it fully because I cannot find it in myself to separate it for the millionth time. Yes I tried. I hated doing that. Is this maybe the worst way to upload it? Maybe. But I wanted to do it like this.
Now, onto what I actually want to say.
Firstly, I want to than @chipper-smol for being a incredible host and organizer to the whole ISAT telephone game, and also being a huge support and inspiration behing this comic!!! Like truly, I wouldn't have done this comic without them, and I can't thank them enough for it. This comic is my pride and joy, I can't imagine not having this with me now!!
I also want to thank @breey2776-blog for writing the fic that inspired me to do this much in the first place!! I can't compliment her writing enough, and I am so thanful to have had her before me. If you haven't read it already. Do it. Right here.

dear everyone on tumblr who needs to host images elsewhere (e.g. to embed on ao3 etc), please give squidge a go!! it's free, it's nonprofit and it's geared towards fandom so nsfw images won't get deleted!! and please stop using imgur if you can because they blocked the uk rather than acquiesce to the fucking internet safety laws, which I can't really hold against em but it does mean all imgur pictures just show up as big purple boxes now
Not only is Squidge still around, it's expanded and grown! It is still run by the same guy, though now it's a nonprofit with a board and everything, and while they maintain all the old squidge sites as static archives, they have a new multifandom archive using the AO3 code at squidgeworld.org. They also host podfics and fanart.
For those younguns in the crowd, back in the day erotic fanworks--especially slash--was not welcome very many places. Walter was willing to host it, and has been a haven for NSFW fanworks since 1994. The various archives and so on hosted at squidge.org were never very large, compared to lots of other archives, but they were a necessary part of the fannish ecosystem, and I'm really glad that there is now a structure in place to keep the whole system running beyond just "Walter's a great guy willing to donate lots of time and money." Walter is a great guy! but like. it's good to have other people to help out and keep things going in the long run.
