Hey all, I was let go from my job in April, in a particularly sudden and awful way.

Since then it’s been a series of disasters, including a new job offer being revoked for fucked-up reasons (ask me in a DM if you’d like to know), my Unemployment benefits being endlessly delayed up due to an administrative error, and being denied other financial benefits (SNAP, etc) because the previous error is still gunking up everything else.

I am going to be late on my rent, something I’ve never done in my life. I’m also incredibly behind on some other critical bills that are looming. I’m freaked out.

I’m trying to raise $500. (across a few communities - I don’t expect any person to give that much!) This will help me make a partial rent payment, pay my (also late) electric bill, and pick up a few groceries.

Any amount helps.
