I can't help but draw one face again and again. One. Face. The lines of this face, the curve of it's lips when it smiles or giggles, the confusion in the eyes when it watches you with interest and curiosity. The question "what?" asked in between giggling. The joy and amusement, frustration and understanding. All of these emotions - sincere and pure. The vein on the forehead when nervous, sharp features covered by shaky hands. I keep sketching it and nothing but it. It's like I can discover it this way, touch it and cherish it. It doesn't leave me be, doesn't leave my head and my brain alone. It murdered all the ideas and occupied the whole of my attention, and I can't help but surrender. Can't help but keep representing it on paper. It's the first time I draw one face of a real person that often. I used to do some other ones, but it was one sketch of one face. With this particular one things are different. I repeat these features from time to time with the slight and harsh movements of my fingers, only to think to myself - the how much I wanna hold this in my very own hands.

And this was a child of simple boredom and lack of sleep. A mind was desperately seeking for something to do and came up with this. I don't like it very much but still. I'm proud
