I'm a fan of Yassine's but I don't usually read much fanfiction, so I'm sorry if any of this comes off weird… I just wanted to let you know how much I loved it though.

I'm fascinated by him as a person, sometimes even more than as player (and that's a lot already), and I often wonder how he reacts privately to all the absurd things football brings to his life. I was so glad to find something so well-written, your characterization of him is so on point that even though it's a work of fiction, I felt like I got to understand him a bit better.

I'd love to read more stories touching on that emotional and psychological side of things and Yassine has a great personality to explore in such scenarios, so thank you very much for writing!

Hi! This made my day, truly! Don't worry at all about coming off as weird; I mean I wouldn't be writing fanfiction about him left and right if I wasn't just as invested into being in this guy's brain in and outside of being a goalkeeper XD (btw hit me up if you ever just want to ramble about him I AM ALL EARS or if you have any ideas :3). Hello! First of all, this literally made my day 😭😭 my football fics are soooo close to my heart, so hearing that you love them too is soooo freaking heartwarming. Also, I don't mind at all! Don't worry! My original plan for the angst was to delay the communication by a loooot. What that would do is that it would let everyone stew in their own head, meaning that they (mostly Brahim and Yassine) would be left alone to cope with the guilt of the loss, without reaching out for help, meaning that Yassine would fall into a pretty depressive state (Brahim would still reach out earlier to Yassine!), before reaching a breaking point. This would be made worse by the fact that the relationship between everyone would be strained and tense, which is disastrous for Yassine especially since he thrives on the collective.
