Chiaki is considered a trophy child to her parents; as they didn’t have her because they wanted to love a child. She was conceived with the idea of her future perfectly planned out to live a perfect life as the ‘perfect’ child. Her parents only rewarded her with love and affection if she was up to their impossible standards.

Due to this, she became a child who was desperate for love and validation from anyone, while simultaneously being very bitter and paranoid in the presence of adults; believing they all have ulterior motives and are evil like her parents.

Given her parents behavior towards her, she matured faster than kids her age, and she grew to have a more cunning and manipulative personality. However, she never used the skills for ‘bad’ reasons. At most, she used her skills for manipulation to exploit the people surrounding her to make up for the genuine love her parents never gave her.

Since she’s a trophy child, her personality is seemingly perfect (i.e. kind, silent, submissive, “seen and not heard”). However, her true personality can be described as the polar opposite. When she’s comfortable with other kids, she can be quite hyper and loud, eager to express herself and have fun. This side of her rarely comes out, though. Both due to the fact people didn’t want to interact with her, and she was worried the people she would interact with as her true self would expose this to her parents (since she was punished when she acted out, she similarly believed if she acted ‘not perfect’ in any way she would be punished also).

She became close with Samansa Karugane (@samfisheyy mentioned) not long before the events of canon due to a plan by Gaku Yashiro in an attempt to make the two girls easier to kidnap and murder. She only was willing to be friends with Samansa because she found her to be the least overbearing and the most relatable of the students in her class. She found out, though, that she was willing to be friends and interact with the louder crowd after Satoru and Co. befriended her. After the group became friends with her, she came out of her shell and started to build a more independent and assertive personality. Although, she still was very desperate for validation and was highly capable of manipulation into her adult years.

Growing up, Chiaki was rather sheltered from people by her parents. From a young age, she was meticulously crafted to be a symbol of success.

When she isn’t acting for her parents, her personality can only be described as neurotic or erratic. Tending to stay quiet to avoid outbursts or punishment from her parents, this has led to a nonexistent social life at school. The few times she has acted out have led to punishment, so it hasn’t happened often. She simply has a very hard time controlling herself. Some classmates have described her a jerk, when in reality she doesn’t exactly know that way of behavior is wrong, since her parents treat her in a poor manner.

Due to her parents' conditional love, she is a massive suck up to people she considers to be people of authority, and obsesses over approval from them. This doesn’t apply to a lot of people though (ex. yashiro who she finds weird) but there are a few adults in her life that aren’t her parents that she seeks approval of. Besides these few people she considers important, she believes most adults are crappy like her parents and wants nothing to do with them.

When Satoru and Co. befriend her when noticing how alone she is, she is somewhat hostile, wondering if they have ulterior motives. However, when she sees how genuine Satoru is, she falls in love (non-romantically) with him and becomes kinder with his assistance.

After becoming friends with Satoru and Co., it’s revealed she’s very mature and intelligent, likely due to the ongoing emotional trauma from her parents. When with her parents, it’s also shown that she’s cunning and deceitful when she sees the need to be. Although, she doesn’t use this negatively; typically only using this to get positive attention from her parents.

Due to her cute looks, her parents utilized her cuteness for cash, often signing her up for commercials and small roles in television. This led to a decently large following, which when she was old enough to understand, she resented it.

Fortunately, her parents were eventually satisfied with her fame, allowing her to take a break from acting in 1987 to focus on school. Of course. she still would occasionally have people trying to take photos of her, but her angry glare would usually make them leave her alone.

It’s evident that while she didn’t really care for acting, she was good at it, often deceiving people around her with her skills to get what she wanted (Once again, not for nefarious reasons, usually just for positive attention).

lastly just a few random facts about her!!!

• She loves sweet treats and snacks, her favorites being Japanese steamed cakes and peeled chestnuts

• As a child, her parents kept her inside enough explicitly so she wouldn't tan and would stay 'fair', so in her adult years, she's actually able to tan considerably.

• She hates adult talk and everything about it. Don't talk to her about politics, religion, sports, or the weather.

• She's a lesbian, experiencing no romantic attraction to any men!

• Has a habit of outright revealing her parents abuse / mistreatment of her and proceeding to play it off as a joke.

made it at my sisters elementary school (they do this event every year, where you can glaze your own ceramic christmas ornaments and they will fire them and send them back to you)

this year i tried to make hatchworth from a gingerbread man ceramic piece, kinda bad because his design is **so** complex and the gingerbread mans proportions are **so** janky but i'm still excited to get him back in 2-3 weeks to see if the colors hold up :p

miss erin is basically the project manager for and handles steam powered giraffe so six can focus on walter robotics, i've written a lot of lore for her and why six trusts her to almost independently handle them but i won't get into it unless someone expresses interest lol i don't want to talk too much about her but i had to share this with yall it's so cute,,,

she's somewhat trained in how to handle blue matter, and some of her duties include scheduling and supervising rehearsals and shows, coordinating walter workers for shows, distributing GG bucks among the bots for their hard work, and most importantly babysitting them so they don't set anything on fire (she's failing. rabbit just set the water faucet on fire.)
