Today, I’m gonna get anti rabies vaccine. :’D

Our lil orange tabby, Orangge or Rangge (pronounced Rang-ge) got a lil too excited and jumped at me and scratched my face last night.

I know he doesn’t have rabies but prevention is better than possible death. So I clocked out early from work (lol just 2hours in) to the get free rabies vaccine in the city hospital. (Which is an hour away from my workplace. Tight on money these days huhu)

I was supposed to get vacced near my workplace but they aren’t open yet. So my mom contacted the city hosp to ask if they do anti rabies vacc and since they do… off I go.

Apparently I needed RIG since it was a facial wound that needs a fast acting vaccine along with the regular anti rabies vacc. I got the regular vaccine for free at the city hosp and need to return every 3 days till the last shot. The doctor at the city hosp winced when he saw where my wound was and so did the techs (?) in the private clinic. Since nosebridge or nose area is supposedly painful?? Strangely it didn’t hurt?? Felt like they were taking out black heads or pimples. I look like I got rhynoplasty with the bandaids lmao I probably just have a really good pain tolerance.

I adopted the 2 kittens our local stray cat left behind (the mom probably ate something with poison somewhere and died in our back yard, she gave birth in the storage area). The kittens are 3 and a half months now and was born on January 29. One is a female tabby calico: Pinpin, and the other is an orange tabby: Orangge (oran-ge)

This week one of them had diarrhea. Gave them fluids and meds, and Pinpin is somewhat doing better now. Yesterday Pinpin was much a concern since she got wonky again. Now this morning Orangge is suddenly bad condition. My mom saw some vomit in their bed. He was so energetic last night so it was really stressful as to why he now looks like on death’s door. We’re currently bringing both of them to the vet to have them check. I hope everything works out fine.

Update: they both have feline distemper / feline parvo / feline panleukopenia. I don’t know where they got it but they’re now both on IV and meds. Doing pretty well right now and does have appetite but there are times they become lethargic. When they wake from their naps and see me they meow and want to come to me. I do pet them a bit but leave them be so they wouldn’t move around too much and disrupt the catheter. Hoping all the best for my two naughty kitties.

It’s gonna take me years to save up for a switch 2 and pokopia with how small my salary is… ;u;

But my priority right now is an ipad and apple pencil so I can still draw while at work.
