Unfortunately, I've been out of the tangled fandom for about 2 years now- I fell into trigun insanely hard (if any 18+ tumblr mutuals miss me feel free to ask for my bsky or twitter since that's where I'm the most active now.) I also had some really difficult experiences with people in the fandom that make the thought of returning to the degree I was pretty emotionally difficult for me.

In terms of juicebox, both me and Milo ended up getting tugged into completely anime fandoms right around the same time. Like two soldiers in love being dragged to opposite fronts. 😔👊 I do still intend to return to Juicebox, but unfortunately it won't be a brainworm project anymore since I don't get the insane autism I used to about Varigo and Team Awesome, which means that without the hyperfixation drive it takes me a lot more energy to dig through notes, fix plot holes and sit down and write.

On top of that, I recently graduated. I'm a Biology girlie through and through (anyone who follows me for a while knows just how autistic I am about my field lol). Unfortunately, I also live in the United States. If you know anything about the importance of the NIH, and what RFK Jr has been doing to the biomedical sciences during the current administration, on top of the new barriers that are being added to the already grueling process of trying to get into Graduate/Medical school, you can probably imagine just how stressed I am, on top of how hard I've had to be working. I get very little free time, which means very little energy, which means that for my own mental health, I need to prioritize the things that bring me the most joy, and recharge me the most.
