Azuki: 5/10 .... I like their dynamic, but there wasn't enough for me to ship them
Azutara: 5/10 .... I can see why people like it, but I don't think Katara would ever date her
Katoph: 3/10 .... Not a bad ship, I just see them as sisters
Mai Lee: 9.5/10 .... Great dynamic. Would be a 10/10 if it didn't make me sad for Azula.

Sokkang: 0/10 .... Too big of an age gap, and they're like brothers to me
Zhaozai: 7/10 .... It would explain how Zhao got all those promotions
Zukaang: 0/10 .... Same as Sokka but a bigger age gap. Though I will admit that it would be more compelling than Sokkang.
Zukka: 8/10 .... I wouldn't want it to be canon, but it's nice to consume fandom content for

The Great Divide hate is unwarranted. Like, yeah, it's not exactly important to the plot, but it's still fun and has great variations in animation style. Not to mention it shows more about how the Avatar has to remain impartial on issues.
But you know what episode ABSOLUTELY deserves hate? Bato of the Water Tribe. How are we hating on The Great Divide when this monstrosity of an episode exists? Yeah, it's plot relevant and has some interesting conflicts. It has plot lines that are interesting. But it's AWFUL. Every time I watch it, I wonder how they got away with such clunky dialogue. It's so stiff that I have to wonder if the show is actually that good or not. Not to mention that they made Iroh such a creep in this episode. The episode had great potential, but it failed SO badly.

Reading ATLA fanfic that has Zuko bonding with his crew is all well and good until you remember that they all die/disappear after the siege of the northern water tribe
I just rewatched the first season of ATLA and it's so funny to me how relevant Zhao was. Like, I completely forgot he existed by the third season, so it was so weird when they introduced him in the show. Oh yeah, that guy WAS a part of this show. And he was one of the main antagonists of the first season. And it's so funny how often he's brought up, too. Like, this guy was a firebending master's student. He was the reason humans were no longer allowed in the library. He captured Aang. He tormented Zuko. He's the reason Yue is the moon now. And some of these things happened in my favorite episodes, but I just blocked out all of the parts that he was in. I take joy in knowing that he would be absolutely furious if he knew that no one remembered him.
