I'd like everyone to meet Vector! He's been around for a while, but is a bit shy, preferring to be the one behind the camera instead of in front of it.

Don't expect him to show up too often - This is 'Eevee’s' Adventure, after all. Still, I thought it could be fun to introduce a few friends along the way 🐾 🧡

Somewhere in the middle of Ohio, Eevee finds herself in a field of unusually large ears of corn 🌽

She's gathered up all her necessities, but... Who is that off to the side? 🔎

Did you know? Eevee isn’t just an adventurer - she’s also a geologist!

Since Eevee’s evolutions are closely tied to evolution stones, she’s always been fascinated by minerals, crystals, and other geological formations!

Last year, she visited a GemStreet USA show in Hamburg, NY, to look for a few new pieces to add to her collection.

Eevee thought this would be the perfect day to kick off her adventure series and picked a handful of photos from the scrapbook and prepared a short history lesson for everyone!

Humble Beginnings:

Eevee made her video game debut in 1996 in the original Pokémon Red and Green versions, which launched in Japan. She wouldn’t come to America until 1998, with the release of Pokémon Red and Blue.

Designed by Motofumi Fujiwara after a request from Satoshi Tajiri, Eevee was designed to be a “blank slate” Pokémon that could branch off into multiple elemental types. 🌟

In 2018, Eevee finally became the star of her own game with the release of Pokémon: Let’s go, Eevee! Naturally, this became our own adventure Eevee’s favorite game. 🧡

Computer Space:

Eevee has always been fascinated with early video games, so when she spotted this Computer Space arcade cabinet, she had to get a picture with it.

This particular unit was found at Midway State Park in Maple Springs, New York.

Manufactured in 1971, Computer Space is widely recognized as the world’s first coin-operated arcade video game, along with being the first commercially available video game! It was designed by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, who would later go on to found Atari. Very cool! 🕹️

Eevee's been pretty busy the past few years, and she's ready to share her adventures with all of you!

While her primary platform is over on Instagram, I'm going to be posting many of her adventures over here as well - as well as a behind-the-scenes look at how a silly plushie photoshoot on vacation evolved into an excuse to slow down, explore new places, and make people smile.
