it's a denial of the fact that cis female atheletes - and now random cis women in the public eye as well - are routinely accused of being male for something as simple as having natural body hair, small breasts, or defined muscles. it is in denial of basic misogyny and racism in a world where cis women's pictures are posted online and people draw lines on her shoulders and hips and skull and determine that she is actually a man.

the bar for performing femininity has always been astronomically high in comparison to performing masculinity. the plain choice of existing in one's un-altered AFAB body is enough for many cis women to be described as male and ridiculed for it.

AFAB people quite frequently "pass as male" whether they intend to or not.

it's also insane that people are mis-describing me as white for being able to pass easily, ignoring the fact that i got read as male over a decade before starting T because i was a mixed race woman who had to shave my face. like, hello white babies you cannot be serious!! i got called a monkey in high school and a faggot at my job before i even came out as a trans guy because i had the audacity to stop giving a fuck about my hair.

How can I fulfill the hunger of three children in the midst of this mass starvation?

After my husband's capture, I'm responsible for providing for them.

I see my children tossing and turning for hours before going to sleep because they are hungry, knowing that I can only provide one meal a day.

My heart hurts when I can't provide them with the most basic rights (food and safety).
