Our home, once filled with warmth, laughter and memories, has been reduced to rubble. We have been displaced more than thirty times from place to a place with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Each time we returned, we found more destruction, we always clung to the hope of rebuilding, but in the last attack, our home was completely destroyed, we are now homeless, living in unsafe conditions with no shelter to protect us from the cold nights. The loss of our home is not just the loss of a building, it’s the loss of safety, stability, and the place where our dreams were nurtured.

With my father unemployed since the beginning of the war, we have no income to provide even the most basic necessities. Water, food, medicine, warm clothes and blankets-things that many take for granted-are beyond our reach. Every day is a battle for survival, and every night is a reminder of the dangers and struggles we face. I am determined to care for family and give my younger brothers and sisters a chance to grow up with hope. But I cannot do it alone.

I am Shams from Gaza, 17 years old, a girl from a family of 7. I was in my first year of high school before the war. I loved my family, my school, my friends, and life itself. But the war came and took everything I loved away.

The days have passed filled with loss and hunger. We no longer go to school—education has stopped, my school and home were bombed, and now my sister, her four daughters, and I all live in a single room.

We are struggling just to find a bite to eat, to have a roof that protects us from rain, rocket shrapnel, and the smell of gunpowder. Time passed, and I was supposed to take my final exams this year, but the war took away our right to education in every way.

We are facing the worst living conditions—insanely high prices for food, cleaning supplies, and medicine. We are displaced after losing our home. My father was injured while trying to find food; he suffers from a herniated disc in his back.

We are truly in need of help. Life here is almost impossible, and the conditions are extremely harsh. Please help me secure shelter, food, medical care, and at least a livable situation. A little from you can make a big difference.

Most of Gaza has now hit IPC level 5 of hunger, classified by excess mortality, and widespread food shortages.

470,000 people are now on the brink of starvation, and the only other option is through these Gaza 'humanitarian' foundation sites.

Nearly 1,400 people have been killed trying to find food, and almost 8,000 have been injured according to the Health Ministry in Gaza.

Israeli government has has claimed to allow greater access of humanitarian aid into Gaza over the last few days - they claim they have instituted tactical pauses in military operations in three areas, creating "designated humanitarian corridors".

Aid workers say that those new measures have done nothing to stop the starvation crisis spreading across Gaza. The distribution of food is inadequate, rushed, chaotic, and deeply dangerous - and many of the trucks (which is hardly any compared to what's needed) are looted.

If the excessive bombardments don't kill them, hunger will.

Many people are forced to rely on a fundraiser, since they have no other source of income due to their workplace being destroyed.

Can you imagine the hunger and thirst that we live with every day? I die of hunger every day of my life. My father is sick with Sultan's disease, multiple sclerosis, and pneumonia. The doctors tell me that your father will one day pass away. He will lose his sight and stop seeing anything. Can you imagine it? 😭😭💔💔💔 No, no, I can't imagine it. I am in your hands. Please help me.

The doctors told us that we only have one option to save him: my life.
