Fukase: Games, collecting, listening to music, movies, reading manga and science-y books. It likes learning about rocks. it also used to sew

Wil: Reading fiction, writing, people watching , making drinks like coffee and tea too . and i just got an idea about what if they unexpectedly really like those idol mobile games

Fukase likes movies where big monsters destroy buildings while Wil prefers more introspective/artistic films . Fukase prefers music like pop and rock while Wil prefers genres like classical........... or JP idol music.

Fukase: It likes to help people, so it'd go out of its way to offer help . and spend time with people . and show its interests . if it doesn't like you it'll be cagey about sharing them

This song was stuck in my head like a week or two ago for multiple days despite having not touched the game in a few months

but VNs are like totally unfamiliar territory to me compared to RPG maker . I'd almost rather just make an extremely linear RPG maker game

VN pros: I can keep more of my writing elements in it i think? maybe is more immersive for some people? and I'd be using some kind of VN maker so it'll probably have conveniences typical of VNs

Cons: backgrounds are a HUGE one esp if I adapt sekai no hajimari bc of its historical setting . also i have no idea how VN engines work i tried once and nearly died. I also don't know *how much* of my writing I should keep in . also I think CGs might be more important which SUCK for me . also I Don't like 99% of VNs I can't focus on them and I think trying to make a VN when I don't even like most VNs is . questionable.

RPG Maker pros: I can feature more cutscenes with pixel animations, I'm familiar with the engine, i can get away with less CGs, I miiight be able to include segments where players can take control to explore the environment, if I work with pixel art CGs well . I have more confidence in those compared to a CG in my normal art style

cons: might disappoint those who want more actual gameplay bc it'll be bare minimum or none, graphics might be worse from resolution limitations, might lack typical VN conveniences like autoplay dialogue options and rpg maker might not be as suited for VNs (from the perspective of a game dev), i need to map, I have to draw character portraits AND sprites
