I appeal to you with all the pain and suffering. We are living in difficult circumstances as a result of the war in Gaza. Our homes have been destroyed and our dreams have faded. We are stuck in Egypt after my wife and I lost our jobs. My family lives in constant fear. My brothers, mother and father also live in Gaza. The catastrophic conditions are the result of bombing and genocide. They are facing an endless nightmare and I need help. Your help to protect my family and restore hope to our hearts
My house was previously a symbol of hope, and now it is nothing but destroyed walls and rubble. Also, my work building was destroyed and we were left without work and a house. These are some memories of pictures between the present and the past.

Hello my friend, my name is Jaafar from North Gaza, I am 24 years old, and finally after waiting for a whole year of killing, displacement, hunger, massacres and genocide against us, the time for a ceasefire has come, thank God we are still alive after all the exhaustion, and during the next week we will return to our homes in North Gaza, which was completely destroyed, unfortunately our area was completely and brutally destroyed and we have nothing left, neither a home, nor property, nor furniture, nor clothes, nor any other clothes, I know that returning to the north will be very painful and difficult due to the lack of the necessities of life, and we will start building our lives from scratch, but we are happy for the war to end.
Please 🙏, donate to my campaign to save my family, even a small amount will help us stabilize ourselves a little, and buy some supplies 🥹, I hope that God will protect your family and friends, thank you 🥰🩵

This is a time for celebration, but it is not an excuse to turn your eyes away from the people of Gaza, who still need our support to either rebuild or leave!! The Rafah border crossing is REOPENING, and it costs €5,000-€7,000 PER PERSON to cross. The Al-Anqars are raising funds to leave through Rafah, and need our help, NOW!!
Thank you all so so much for your support during this time of besiegement and horror—hopefully now will be a time of peace, rebuilding, and new beginnings for the people of Gaza.
I would like to tell you that I am from Gaza, where we now live under bombs, explosives, and warplanes from which we cannot sleep for many nights, and other things. This war has destroyed our bodies, our lives, and our souls. It has destroyed our homes, taken everything from us, destroyed all places, changed all landmarks, and changed our situation for the worse. We used to live fine. And peace and love of life, and here we live in hunger, fear, and terror, me, my children, and the rest of my family, and we do not have the minimum necessities for life, and we live in very dilapidated tents. We do not know how to act when winter comes upon us. We will be drowned by the rain and wind, and I will not know how to protect my children or my family, neither from the bombing nor from the winter.😭
Therefore, I beg you to help me so that I, my children, and my family can live and survive this hideous war🙏🏻🙏🏻

i know people don't like to read longer posts, especially when they're asking for donations, but i want to try something new here. i was talking to nader last night and what he told me had me thinking, maybe if i share this, people will understand what he's going through and why he's so proactive in asking for help. he didn't initially write this to be shared--he was simply talking to me, telling me how he felt, but i asked if i could include it in a post, because he'd articulated himself beautifully and i think it could help.
here is the story of a palestinian teenage boy in gaza, in his own words. for context, this started with him asking me why donations had slowed down so much, and me explaining a combination of factors, including lack of trust, lack of compassion, seeing a large total of donations and thinking help is no longer necessary, and people thinking that gazans receive more free aid than they actually do.
"There are many families who do not receive support from these organizations. If we didn't need help, we wouldn't ask anyone for it. Let me tell you what we go through every day. Every day I wake up from my sleep, which is not really sleep. I sleep on a mattress, on the ground and sand, without anything. I sleep in an open place where I do not know anyone and no one knows me, in an area where there are stray dogs, not to mention insects, mice, and sewage that passes between the tents.
I go to stand in line to fill up some clean water (really [killy], there is no clean water here). The line is very long and crowded. I keep waiting for more than 4 hours and in the end I only get a few liters, which is not enough for one day. After that, I go to carry water for washing, ablution, or anything else from a distance of more than 4 kilometers or more. This is the least we go through every day, [killy]. No cleaning materials and sanitary ware. There is no flour. Most people here go without eating. The price of a bag of flour alone exceeds 500 euros. For a large family like ours, we need more than 7 bags per month, but these prices are too high for us. We need everything. We have been deprived of many things. I myself have hepatitis.
We have lost a lot in this war and I do not think that there will be anything that will compensate us for what we have lost. Yes, but I want to tell you that children were deprived of their childhood, sons were deprived of their fathers, and mothers deprived of their children.
Yesterday, I was standing with one of my friends and we were talking. The next morning, I was surprised by the news of his martyrdom. Although I was talking to him yesterday, he was martyred a few hours later. It was a sad thing. I was not sad about his departure. I was sad because I did not go with him. I was tired of this life, the pain and the suffering. While the West, foreigners and Zionists live a dignified life, we die and suffer here.
I want to tell you that when I wake up every morning, I wake up to the sound of my mind remembering the life I lived before the war. I remember my bed that I used to sleep soundly on. I remember the doors of the house that I used to open and close. I remember the courtyard in our house. I remember our beautiful house, although it was not a big house or a palace or a castle, but it was a place that was dear to my heart. I remember that I used to wake up every morning to the voice of my mother as she woke me up. Nader, Nader, get up, you missed your school time. I quickly get up to wash my face with clean water and soap that smells wonderful. I go put on my school uniform and get ready to go to school. If I had homework, I didn’t do it in the evening. I do it before going to school so that I wouldn’t be punished.
I remember our street where my 7 cousins who were my age were waiting for me, and the other children who were waiting for me to take them to their schools. I go to school on time, greet my friends, talk a little, then go to the classrooms. Unfortunately, more than half of them were martyred. I remember the wonderful teachers who treated us like their own children and I also remember when I used to make a mess when the teacher was away. All of this hurts my heart as I write it now. When I finish school, I quickly go to the football field and my classmates and I play a friendly match. We enjoy it. After that, I go to my beloved home. My mother welcomes me with the most delicious food. All of this is gone now. We no longer have food. I am very sad about what happened to us, [killy].
This is what I was living, but it ended and became just words and memories. I wanted to live a life full of adventure, fun and exploration, but all my dreams are gone and dead."
I want Nader and his family to live long enough to feel hope again. I want him to live to be able to leave, to continue his education. He still talks to me about these things. He still asks me if I think he'd be able to make it in the United States. Right now, we just need to make sure that he survives that long. Not just him, but his family--a really big family. This fundraiser doesn't just help one person. It helps his parents, his siblings, his niece, his many cousins. These are people who are not getting enough aid. That's why they're asking.
📢 Help Rebuild Our Lives: A Family's Fight for Survival in Gaza❗🚨
🚨Urgent 😟👇🇵🇸🚨
Hello everyone!!
My name is Lena Khames, a 27-year-old wife to my husband, Mohammed, and a proud mother of three beautiful children: our daughter Yasmmen and our two sons, Ali and Adam.
We come from Al-Zahraa in the Gaza Strip. I have a diploma in e-commerce, but our once stable and hopeful life has been shattered by the devastation of war, leaving us struggling to rebuild.
Our world collapsed when a missile targeted our home, reducing it to rubble in an instant 💔. The home we had built with $40,000, a place where we had hoped to raise our children in peace, was completely destroyed. We have been left homeless, with nothing but memories of what we once had.
Our family has been forced to move repeatedly 💔due to the conflict. After being displaced from our home by military force to a supposedly "safe" area, we quickly learned there is no safe place in Gaza. Each time the danger intensified, we had to flee again, struggling to protect our children from the violence that surrounded us. Today, we live in a tent under unbearable conditions, without even the most basic necessities.
In one of the many attacks, my husband, already suffering from a previous injury, was seriously wounded in his leg 💔. He now requires continuous medical care and a special device to help him walk again. To make matters worse, my husband lost his brother Mahmoud in the conflict—his brother died in his arms while they were inspecting the ruins of our home. The emotional and physical pain has weighed heavily on him, and on all of us.
Adding to our burden, my husband also lost his car—the sole source of income for our family— 💔 which had cost him $20,000. This loss has left us without any means of financial support, making it nearly impossible to care for our children and ensure their safety.
How Your Donation Will Help Us 🙏:
We are seeking to raise €100,000 to help secure a temporary place for our family, as we are currently living in a tent and our children desperately need a safe and stable environment. The funds will also allow us to begin rebuilding our home, which was destroyed, and restore the stability and hope we once had. Additionally, we need urgent financial support for my husband’s medical treatment and travel to find safety and proper care, as we try to escape the ongoing nightmare of war and genocide that we are forced to endure.

A year has passed since that heartbreaking moment when my wife and children—Katya, Nabil, and Linda—were forced to flee to Morocco in search of safety, leaving everything behind. They departed with no bags, no money, no basic needs for life there, while I remained here in Gaza, unable to join them due to lack of funds.
This year has been one of the hardest of my life; my children desperately need education and a home to ensure their security and stability. However, I lost everything I owned in this war.
My home was destroyed, I lost my job, and I spent all my savings on their journey and to sustain life here. Now, I live in a tent with my parents and my brother, after we miraculously survived being buried under rubble following a bombing that demolished our house. My niece, Seham, was injured in the bombing, and we now have no work, no income, and no hope for a stable life.
I created a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe back in January, well-documented and legitimate, hoping to receive support that would allow me to help my small family and my extended family. Yet, to date, we've only reached 4% of the needed amount.
I still believe that goodness remains in this world, I am in urgent need of your support; every contribution, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference and restore some hope to our lives.

as-Salēm 3aleīkum, people. I usually hesitate to do this as I don't think this blog has much reach around, but Mohammed @mohmad-5 from Gaza reached out a few days ago asking for some assistance so as to boost his fund plead, as he and his wife are in dire need of means to afford the very basic care goods they need to tend to their prematurely born baby, Imad, as well as his wife's wounds and their older child, Ahmed.
Whatever spare change you've got around will probably be quite the blessing for them, especially given that medical infrastructure across the Gaza Strip has been scorched to debris by the Zionist occupation's ghoulish disregard for Gazauī's livehood; so medical assistance is operating under less than hygienically spruce conditions, and basic groceries have very much become a luxury for them.
Mohammed's plead rests on some USD$1330 right now (Oct. 24th), out of a ~USD$65000 estimate it must meet in order for them to afford crossing into Egypt and procure what they so pressingly need right now.
Their plead has been vetted by @gazavetters, by the way. You can find it over line #47 here.

The Journey of Life or Death: Our Displacement from the Rubble… Hani Yasser needs your support for "Help us build our future after being dis
Hello, I’m Hani, 26 years old, from Gaza. Life wasn’t easy even before the war. I studied social work, but due to the lack of job opportunities, I was forced to work as a taxi driver. But in October last year, everything changed in unimaginable ways. The war on Gaza began, and my life, as well as my family’s, turned into a never-ending nightmare.
We lived in an area close to the border, and when the shells started raining down on us from the very first hour, we had no choice but to leave. We heard the sounds of bombings destroying the homes and streets around us, and we witnessed how our city turned to ruins in just a few hours. Massacres were happening right before our eyes; children, women, and the elderly fell as helpless victims. Everything we loved disappeared — our home, our neighborhood, and our neighbors.
At first, we tried to hold on. We stayed for two months in northern Gaza despite the destruction all around us. But when the bombing intensified and targeted every surrounding area, we had to make the hardest decision: to flee south. The journey was not easy. Everywhere, the destruction was immense, roads were cut off, and there was no means of transportation. Every moving vehicle was directly targeted, and we were terrified of every sound.
Still, we had to move forward. I gathered my family: my father Yasser (55 years old) and my mother Manal (50 years old), who suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure, my sister Safaa (23 years old), my brother Ibrahim (15 years old), and my younger siblings Nasser (7 years old), Bara’a (5 years old), and Adam (3 years old). We began walking on foot, covering over 15 kilometers, while I carried Adam on my back at times. We could hear the planes overhead and see the devastation around us.
With every step, we approached the checkpoints controlled by Israeli soldiers. The sight of armed soldiers inspecting everyone heightened our fear. The children cried, and every day Nasser would ask me, "When will we go back home?" I had no answer. Each time I looked into his eyes, my heart would break, knowing that he was searching for hope amidst the sorrow.
After hours of waiting and fear at the checkpoints, we finally entered the south. But our suffering didn’t end there. We were taken to Deir al-Balah, to a school overcrowded with displaced people. The classrooms were extremely packed, with each room hosting at least five families. We couldn’t find a place inside, so we had to sleep beside the school’s wall, living in a makeshift tent made of cloth and wood provided by some people. I watched the children as they tried to sleep and felt powerless to provide them with safety.
Another month passed, and we were asked to leave that area and move to Rafah. We lived in a small tent for four months among thousands of displaced people in the Al-Zawaida area. But during the last month, heavy rains flooded our tent, making it impossible to stay there. We were forced to relocate to a school that was still under construction. We have now been living in this school for five months, sharing a single classroom with five other families, struggling to survive and stay alive.
Our emotions are a mix of fear and pain, but every time I see my family standing strong together, I feel that there is still hope in our hearts. This journey was not only physical but emotional as well. Every day, we live with the hope of returning to our home, which now only exists in our memories.
In the midst of this suffering, getting food and water has become a daily challenge. We live in harsh conditions where food aid arrives in limited quantities and is not enough to meet the needs of my large family. Sometimes, we are forced to wait in long lines just to get a small amount of food, while the children endure hunger and anxiety.
As for water, the situation is even worse. We struggle to obtain clean drinking water, which puts us at risk of illness. The health conditions around us continue to worsen, with many diseases spreading due to the lack of cleanliness and overcrowding. I see my brother Adam (3 years old) suffering from a persistent cough, and my heart breaks knowing I can’t do anything to help him.
These conditions surround us from every angle, making life more difficult, but we continue to endure, hoping to return to our normal lives.
My campaign is legitimate and documented, and I’m here to ask for your help. Please support us in this journey by sharing my story or providing assistance to my family. We need help now more than ever, as every step of support is a step towards hope and survival.
