“You told Stan the last time you peed yourself was in first grade at that horse farm,” Eddie starts, arms crossing over his tiny body. “But actually it was two weeks ago when you laughed so hard at your own joke you wet the bed.” Richie’s heart thumps in his chest. The only people who knew about that were him and his mom (who’d helped change the sheets). Against his will, Richie’s cheeks light up with an embarrassed flush.

“Okay, maybe I did!” Richie throws up his hands in defeat. “But that doesn’t mean you’re an angel.” Realization hits, and Richie points a finger at Eddie in accusation. “If you’re really an angel, then where’s your wings?”

Eddie just gives an exasperated sigh. “I have to earn them. That’s why I’m here. To help you.” A pause, and then Eddie smiles. “To be your friend.”

and then he looks up and sees that benji’s recording them and takes his hand away from benji’s lips and looks at the camera surprised

and then jorge’s like “oh shit benji got that on camera what the fuck” and he pulls the most hilarious face i’ve ever seen

and then he’s freaking out a little and benji’s having the time of his life bc he got jorge unexpectedly (just like jorge has been doing since they met)
