Edgar made a noise between a gasp and a laugh as Dirk leapt onto his back. He stuck his nose in the air and put on an upper class accent. "Where would thee like to go, sir Dirk-a-lot? The kitchens you say? Excellent choice of location sire."

"That is a too rich thing to say coming from somebody as mediocre as you in all the fields. Well, I think that, on the contrary, you would need a drawn picture with instructions to get something done properly, whilst we can do it with no help or pressure from any outsiders. "Oh yes, course." Edgar snorted. "But I'd rather be reading picture books then being in some strict breeding program. No pressure, my ass. Don't tell me that from the day you were born you haven't been told how marvellous you are and 'don't touch the mudblood, you might catch diseases'." He glared, already thinking of pranks he could pull. "And how the most important thing is keeping the blood pure.
