When you answered my question about whether or not Nana should've retired and reclaimed her son, you accused AFO of killing Nana's husband. I don't think AFO killed Nana's spouse because it's never been stated anywhere in the story that AFO was the culprit.

Shortly after the battle at Kamino, Gran Torino acknowledges that Nana's husband was murdered, he never reveals who was at fault, nor does anyone else. If AFO was truly at fault for the death of Nana's husband, don't you this would've been noted somewhere in the story?

I don’t think it needs to be stated explicitly. We know that Nana’s husband died due to AFO in some form, whether that’s AFO killing directly (though I feel this is unlikely given AFO’s usual modus operandi), AFO’s associates/followers killing on purpose, or the general chaos AFO fostered that led to high rates of crime and violence (which is what seems to have claimed Toshinori’s family, and why Nana was receptive to Toshinori’s “symbol of peace” idea). Before All Might, everyone lived in AFO’s world, whether they knew it or not. Nana dedicated her life to justice and putting an end to that world. She put Kotaro into foster care after her husband’s death because she wanted Kotaro “far from the world of heroes” who were fighting AFO, and her main concern was explicitly keeping “him” (AFO) off Kotaro’s trail.

Correction, according to recent info from The Ultra Age Fan book, AFO did in fact kill Nana's husband by his own hands. What's even more shocking was that this incident occurred when Kotaro was still a baby! Nana didn't know about AFO before he killed her spouse, but she found out soon after. This means by extension, Nana knew that AFO made her a widow long before she received OFA but didn't bother to tell Kotaro about this even after she placed him foster care! I get that Nana didn't want to give Kotaro TMI, but I can't believe she keep AFO's role in her husband's death a secret from their child!

The Path You didn’t Know You Built

After many months, I finally finished the piece!! :DD

I wanted to challenge myself, and since the main story of BNHA was ending at the time, I decided to draw all nine one for all users in the same piece because I rarely drew more than one or two characters.

And while BNHA was airing it's final season, I was also playing HSR during the amphoreus arc and that was also ending. So the title is kind of a homage to that specific arc.
