21st Century Dating
I hate how dating works. If you talk to someone for an extensive period of time and go on ONE date with them, you're expected to start a relationship with, and stay fairly committed to, them. It's like you get no chance to meet other people, explore your options, anything at all. You just jump into this relationship with this person you barely know and hope for the best. And the worst part is, you're the bad person if you say "hey, I'm just not interested" after the FIRST DATE. To the rest of the world, you've "played" said person, and you shouldn't have "led them on" when, in reality, you were actually just exploring your options and trying to find out what type of people you are interested in. There should be nothing wrong with exploring your options. It's better to realize early on that you won't be happy in the relationship than leading someone on for an extended period of time. I think exploring your options and not committing to one person after a single date is how dating should be.
