Ah thank you! I love this trend <3
Tell Me How To Live Forever — Remus/James | T | 11,983 words.
Remus descends into madness attempting to bring James back from the dead. This was my first time writing anything horror-ish and I really enjoyed it even if very few people read it 😅
Remus' grief is like road rash. Without James, the top layer of his skin has been scuffed clean away, and the bleeding, fleshy parts of himself have been left raw and exposed. It takes very little to knock his world off its axis now— a word, a look, the sight of a closed bedroom door across the hall. Nothing is growing in the places James used to be. Part of him hopes nothing ever does. Remus wants to be bleeding and fleshy and screaming forever.
The Things You Do For Love (are gonna come back to you one by one) — Remus/ Tonks | M | 26,724 words
A meteor is on its way to Earth, and Remus finally gets to know his neighbour Tonks as they head on a road trip to the Potter’s house. I’m obsessed with hauntology and Remus is Haunted in this one.
There beside the moon, sharing in its glow, was the meteor. It looked no bigger than a 50 pence piece from here. Remus could have covered it with his thumb.
It flickered red and gold as it went, travelling at speeds he could not fathom.
"It's beautiful." He whispered, tone laced with awe. "Don't you think?"
"It's going to kill us all.” She hadn't looked away from it.
"All the same," He said. "It's beautiful."
"You're a strange man, Remus Lupin," Tonks said approvingly.
This Foul Unchanging Thing — Tonks/Remus | M | 4,753 words
This one gives nonbinary Tonks gender dysphoria to work through in vignettes through HBP. Messy Remadora that makes me shake my head at the pair of them.
Tonks didn't know who pushed who onto the bed, only that they had dug their nails into Remus' back as he fucked them into the mattress, scraping away layers, blood under fingertips, feeling the way his desperate hands had left imprints on their thighs.
autoclave. — Remus/Tonks | M | 10,277 words
Remus finally gets the therapy he needs and slowly, very slowly, begins to heal enough to be a present husband and takes Tonks on their first date. Finally got to write moments set in DH for these two. This is a sequel to This Foul Unchanging Thing only because I didn’t want to let go of that Tonks.
"I can't fix you," They say at last, and the words ring out in the silence as though they had screamed them at him. He is freefalling, and grips the edge of the sofa for something to hold on to. "Sometimes you look at me like — like I will. But I can't love you better, Remus. I won't even try." His throat is burning. "You have to want to do that yourself."
"I…" He trails off helplessly. "I don't know how."
The Feeling Of Being In Motion — Remus/ Tonks | M| 5,047 [Current wip]
This is my main long-form WIP! Remus never goes back to Tonks in Deathly Hallows, and now he hasn't seen her in 4 years...until she turns up looking for a babysitter.
You could say no to the shift, He'd said to her shortly after Dumbledore's death. He'd watched her pull her dirty-blonde hair into a ponytail and traced her dark circles with the pad of his thumb.
So could you.
You used to know when to ask for help.
Yeah, well, look what's happened since.
