Hi, it’s werelivingarts again. During online school, I find it extremely hard to concentrate on schoolwork since there are so many distractions on laptops, phones and even in your home. Sometimes, you have plan to work but your brain won’t collaborate, so here is some tips to help you with attention management. 😊

Hi, it’s werelivingarts, and it’s officially the AP mock season in my high school. Even though my high school just returned back from spring break, we started to face a huge amount of anxiety and stress due to assignments and tests. 

Here are just some ways that I use to cope with anxiety that save me from having a mental breakdown while studying UwU!

So my approach to time tables is different, I dont follow the general. I have a different system of organisation

For me this is how my days time is divided and I also have a 24 hour Day chart which has a log of what hours are free and which arent. Although now I remember it like the back of my hand

3. Monthly Goals ~ 📝

This has the amount of chapters that I wish to accomplish in this month. If you see I have not given myself more than 2 chapters in each subject because I know I just ended my finals and I will not be able to do a lot of work this month. And if I sufficate myself with a lot of work, then I will never even do 2 chapters.

Making timetables and following them is really differicult and different for everyone. I myself took a lot of time to figure out what works for me and someday I dont have a timetable and rather just try to do all the tasks that I have for me.

I believe everyone can make a timetable but following one is the real difficulty. Be real to yourself and put in free time. If you struggle wih sitting for long hours, put in a lot of sitting sessions with break.

Eg- instead of studying for 4 hrs study for 1 hr then do your work out then study for 2 hrs and tidy your room study for 1 more hour and take a long break for 2 hr and treat yourself to some netflix and food.

Firstly - do not have a single journal for both your academic organisation and for gratitude and one line a day journal.

Have a planner and have a different journal for everything. A planner is where you are trying to be efficient. It’s supposed to be where you bring your thoughts together and organise your life and not a place where you write a lot and let your thoughts flow.

Log off youtube and tumblr and instagram. Make one yourself. The first journal i made was beautiful it had thousands of creative pages and habit trackers and what tracker and what not. But it was not effective at all. There were soo many pages to be filled I did not even pick it up after the fist month and it was a pain in the arse to sit and plan all the pages and draw them out.

My planner is a very minimalistic and effective planner I reach for it all the time.

Find what works for you. Some people can sit and make those beautiful pages. I can’t.

I like to keep my diary and planner completely separate.

This is a 2 week spread and as you can see it’s completely plain . Drawn with pencil ans rest the only colour i used was while writing my to do list.

Its all about finding what works for you. Maybe you might be a one page to do list kind of person or maybe an online planner. But please do not try to copy someone as that will not work and you will end up more frustrated, try thinking will the inspiration that you saw be practical for you ? Also dont worry if its ugly because as long as its effective its the best. A knife is simply suppoed to cut and not meant to be beautiful or appealing to the eye. Look in your kitched the knife is simple and plain. It does its job and similarly the journal is supposed to help u plan. Maybe start with weekly pages like these and then in a month you will realise what all spreads you need and what you dont .
